Amazing family restaurant with traditional politiki/Greek couisine. It does do anything new or fancy but the food is amazing and excellent executed. The service is great with polite and pleaseant waiters. One recommendation is dont order whole portions and pick half portions since they are too big. It has parking in the surrounding streets. Highly recommended with great value for money dinner.

Good setting though there is no view of âthe sightsâ here. Theyâve created a pleasant rooftop setting in the center of the tourist area that provides a respite from the hustle downstairs. The waitstaff was too notch. Wine selection was high quality. We had the seafood saganaki and octopus starters. Both were quite good. Our mains were the sea food pasta, sea bass and lamb. All were prepared well and we had no complaints. If you want a bit of a break from the hustle and bustle of the tourist scene and donât mind not seeing the Acropolis for one meal, this is a great option.

Cantina Bella offers quality street food in downtown Athens, near Acropolis. Enjoy delicious sandwiches, fresh salads and desert in just a few minutes.
I love the Greek cuisine, but sometimes I like to take a break and eat something different. In that case I can highly recommend Cantina Bella. The owner welcomes you with a big smile and clearly takes pride in his food and offers a selection of surprising and all tasty dishes. The food is cheap and the portions huge. All fresh ingredients. Really recommended to just try things you might normally not order. A must-do if you stay in the area.

After checking TA reviews we headed to Caravin for our first lunch in Athens. We simply loved everything about the wine bar. The decor, food and wine were faultless. Loved it and we are not the easiest to please. If you like good food and drink then this is the place to head to.
