We discover this place for dinner and it was a really good: fist of all we appreciate the service and the food was very fresh and tasty. We chose tzaziki and cheese pie, for the main course a mix of meat grilled.

Ate here twice this year early September, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times food was delicious and service was good. Lunch time we chose two dishes from the specials which the waiter informed us of. We had stuffed tomato and green pepper and lamb fricasse - both delicious. We chose our fresh fish early afternoon for that evening and booked a table, which was good as the restaurant was busy when we arrived. Service was pleasant at all times but a little slow sometimes. Food was cooked to perfection and our waiter suggested accompaniments to our fish. Nice, local wine. Lovely evening sitting by the sea. Would recommend for delicious Greek cuisine in a lovely setting on the beach.

This restaurant is in Livadi, on the main road. It does not offer any views, but it does offer good service and good food (since it serves mostly grilled food, there's only few options for vegetarians/vegans; still, there's some delicious pasta dishes as well as a variety of hors d'oevres and salads.Prices acceptable.

A quite interesting place with adequate portions and good flavours. The lost the 5/5 due to the fact that this period of time it's crowded and the personnel are loosing control of their clients. Regardless our not so good experience (i am talking about the service) the food was tasty and we were overall satisfied.

Situated on the village of Kalamos in Kythera island, Filio Tavern is one of the very few Kytherian restaurants that serve home-made style Greek and Kytherian specialities. Filio Tavern opened in June 1998 in the village Kalamos of Kythira island. In an i
Are you so hungry that you want to eat all the bread the waiter brought plus the spoons, plates and everything on the table? No problem.. Go there and order something cooked in the oven or dish of the day and voila!!! Mission accomplished and everyone is happy and the belly is not complaining!!!

After hard days of snorkelling and swimming at Kaladi beach we often ended up here for lunch. Fresh fish, homemade beautiful moussaka, lovely salad and the best fried cheese I have ever had. Wash it all down with a cold draft beer or carafe of wine amongst the olive trees and you will be in the mood for an afternoon sleep. Planning on going back here for dinner as they have slow cooked goat, rabbit stew as well as the trays of fish to pick from. I grew up by the sea and can always tell if fish is fresh by the way it looks. They also weigh the fish and let you know how much it costs before you choose whether you would like it fried or grilled. This is authentic Greek cuisine and family hospitality at a very reasonable price.

If you want to enjoy your lunch or your dinner, or even an ouzo, just on the sand of the beach, if you want to enjoy the bright blue color of the Greek sea, or listen to the sound of the waves while enjoying your meal, then you have to visit "Kaleris" restaurant. It is a traditional Greek restaurant in Ayia Pelagia village, in the island of Kythera. Because of its high quality of food- from seafood to traditional cooked food- it is always full of people, so it is recommended to book early your table, otherwise you will wait for a table, which probably you will not find! Service is good, but a little slow and prices are reasonable. But the memories are excellent!Thank you very much for your review! It was a pleasure to serve you!

Two good friends and businessmen of Kythera decided to join forces and create PSOMOLADEA O.E. Their idea was to establish a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant in the picturesque coastal village of Avlemonas in a 400 year-old building which has always functi
This was by far the best restaurant we visited in Kythira. Situated in an idealic place (Avlemonas), with a nice cosy backyard. A huge selection to choose from the menu, covering all tastes, reasonable prices and very tasty dishes. A must visit

A love for the surrounding land and sea is the underlying source of inspiration for our dishes at Familia. We wish to highlight the relationship between the raw nature, produce and cultural history.
We went 6 people, tried the vlita salad, kleftiko, lamb, Cretan smoked steak and eggplant salad. The lamb was tasteless and mixed with jarring ingredients, kleftiko was clearly burnt meat, the smoked steak indigestible. The eggplant salad was the size of 2 spoonfuls. We paid 100⬠and did not eat. The island offers an abundance of good food choices from fish to meat and vegetarian traditional dishes. Stay away from tasteless misleading expensive gourmet places like familia.

Too much ado... Without it being in any way bad it was nothing special. No particular atmosphere, nothing great nothing bad.Very polite staff but the owner was definitely not happy we didn't order enough and kept insisting if we wanted anything more.
