We were near the grocery store and decided to eat dinner, so we picked this restaurant. We probably won't go back. Very noisy patrons, the owner then wanted to turn the TV louder (which by the way, no one was watching) he thought we wanted it up, NOT true.the food was fair, it took a long time to receive it.
Bambino restaurant specializing in seafood , meat plachas , soups , snacks and pizzas , is facing the Caribbean Sea just steps from the pier and the New Bridge TELENO not hesitate to visit when coming to Tela. 2448-1086
The pizza here is good. The crust is thicker than new York style. I've had a hard time finding places in Tela that serve actual sized side salads. This place does!
We arrived late after they had technically closed and the invited us in and sent someone to get the chef. Super friendly service and a rustic beach atmosphere. Don't expect facilities but the food is incredibly authentic. Seafood (shrimp, fish) was spectacular with red beans and rice and plantains. Cold beer tops off a perfect funky beach experience with fabulous food. We literally watched the last of the boats come in with the day's catch for the restaurant. For a real experience as long as you aren't a fussy type that needs A/C we highly recommend Restauranta Garifuna!
This is a great restaurant and its nearby areas. Its sopa de caracol (conch soup) and itâs fried fish are superlative. You eat at open air with the sea breeze and your feet in the white sand. The service is great and nice. After eating you can go to the nearby beach, so beautiful. Highly recommended place.

We were staying at Honduras Shores Plantation and had three lunches at the beach. The service is friendly but not speedy. That was fine as we were just hanging out enjoying the beach (which is amazing, with clean sand, warm water, and hardly another soul around.) The menu is diverse, but not huge. We had the breaded fish plate (very good and clearly fresh), chicken nachos (so good we had them 3 times,) the chicken burger (not so good) and the fresh fish sandwich (twice, although it was prepared quite differently the two times we had it.)The pina colada and daiquiri were both delicious. The margarita was bitter. They have the typical beers at good prices. I would recommend sitting at the tables by the beach (where we always sat) but if you are using the pool and sit around there, you'll be closer to the bar/kitchen, so the service could be a little faster. Bottom line: Probably not a destination restaurant, but if you want good food at a fantastic beach, this easily fits the bill.
Fast and friendly service with a smile; good clean bathrooms (and the only reason I'm reviewing a gas station). Not many choices like this in Tela, so stop here if you need a top-off and road-trip supplies!

Just a walk away from the beach Northern Lights Restaurant is the place to be if you want to taste the caribbean cuisine while reading a book offered by our new library. Surrounded by an enchanting garden, hammocks and the best fruits de mer on town this
I was a bit disappointed in Northern Lights, perhaps because it had been so highly recommended by a Honduran acquaintance. The night I ate there, I was the only customer, which probably should have been a clue. I ordered the grilled fish filet, which came with a salad, rice, and fries. The salad was very good (large and extraordinarily fresh). The fish itself, however, was disappointing. It seemed fresh, but was underdone ... and trying to communicate this to the waiter was frustratingly unrewarding.

This small restaurant is definitely a jewel in Tela! The service was fantastic and our servers (Cristian and Raquel) made us feel like home. The food was definitely delicious. The shrimp cocktail was very good and also the bruschetta was superb! We shared the lobster and it was great. A little tough it did not bother us at all! Obviously the view was great and the whole atmosphere was a big plus. At the end, Cristian gave us promotional material for locations to visit in Tela.If you go to Tela, make sure you visit this restaurant!

Caesar Mariscos is a place that is consistent in the quality and preparation of its foods. The atmosphere is distinctly Honduran with a full beach view. Wonderful outdoor dining on the paseo, under the palms, under an awning, or inside with open large windows. Family owners are very often on site and circulating. English is spoken. Prices are on the high end for Honduras, but still worth the price. As stated in the title - it's worth returning again and again. Serving all day. Safe to eat salads as water is filtered.Good evening JohnH881, we thank you for such a Wonderfull review.
