This place has always been a favourite place to eat and today was no different. The food is always outstanding, including the daily menu del dia. But what makes Alterna different from other restaurants around are the wonderful staff who are super friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes on offer. Fran today was one of the best waiters we've had for a long time! I highly recommend this great Asturian Sidreria and make sure you book in advance for the weekends as it's very popular. Thank you very much for your comment. We try to improve every day and your opinion motivates us to continue doing it. We will congratulate Fran on his behalf. acudimos el dÃa de la madre con un menú especial de 22â¬, precio razonable para intentar encontrar cierta calidad en el producto, de entrante langostinos dos salsas, unos langostinos insÃpidos y mal cocidos, algunos ni pelaban bien de lo crudos que estaban, presentado tal cual salen de cocer en una bandeja de aluminio, señores, que con la vista también se come, y presentarlos un poco decentes, no lleva ni un minuto mas, de primero arroz con bugre, arroz largo del que no se pasa, sin apenas sabor, los segundos un solomillo, que estaba perfecto, en su punto, sabroso y como espuma, y una merluza del pincho a la cazuela que era un despropósito, la salsa aguada y sin ligar, ya no digo nada del flan...que tenia sabor a ajo.... en fin, pienso que no se puede ofrecer un menú semejante por 22 euros, todo batalla y puesto de cualquier forma, la carta no la he probado pero no me han quedado demasiadas ganas.

My wife and I recently visited this place and we were very happy with the service and the quality of the food. We shared a Chuleton de Buey and it was magnificent, cooked to the right degree of doneness and the flavor was out of this world. We can not forget mentioning the sidra and the spectacular way in which it is served. I would recommend this place to anybody planing a visit to this area.

Muy buen cordero a la estaca, tiernisimo y riquÃsimo. En cuanto a el churrasco de Angus , brutal de rico! Ricos frixuelos también de postre y de precio también bien. Lo único que tiene de pega es que el sitio no está señalizado por ningún lado está bastante escondido. Pero se come bien, volveré.

Locally popular, this place is good for parties and families. In which case, stick to the less-expensive items on the menu and you'll be fine. However, if you want quality ingredients, best look elsewhere (and there is good hunting nearby). The quality of the meats is slightly above average, with prices rather more than slightly above average. And a restaurant with these prices should not be using frozen fried potatoes, or frozen/pre-prepared desserts, which they do.

Cualquier dÃa es bueno para disfrutar de este restaurante. Fuimos para una comida familiar y nuevamente no defraudó. Compartimos una ensalada asador, combinación de sabores original, se compone de queso fresco, aguacate, pimientos del piquillo y anchoas, un espectáculo. De las mejores cecinas que probado y unas gambas rojas al ajillo. Como platos principales cordero, gran producto y en su punto justo.El trato por parte del personal siempre es excelente y cercano. Totalmente recomendable!
