Great place for a variety of grilled meat. Limited salad. Wish they would add some big salad options. Liked the rustic look wooden benches. Glass walls, can see the streets on 2 sides. Clean inside. Friendly service, big smiles. Recorded music with DJ on one night I visited. Not at lunch time. Cool crowd, all having a good time. Value for money. Order the cranberry or tomato juice if non - drinker.

We had a great evening at Pryanosti! Very tasty food, great service and nice atmosphere. We have been here a couple of times and we never get disapointed. We usually have the same waiter: Marlen Utyushev that guy deserves a raise - he is great and even speaks english! Which is rare for Astrakhan We will definitely be back!

The Belgian-Luxembourg trade mission has been hosted by the local Lukoil subsidiary in this high-class restaurant. The ground level dining room is decorated in an English pub like manner, the banquet room on the second floor a tad more modern. The food typical lower Volga fare was cooked, presented and served to perfection. The variety was equally impressive: river pike caviar cooked with just enough onion, smoked sturgeon, beluga, and catfish, fish soup, fried zander, lamb chops, raw and cooked vegetables and so on.Excellent vodka ice cold, unexpectedly good Bordeaux wine (Haut Maginet)Excellent restaurant for both business and private entertaining

Wonderful atmosphere; staff does a great job of greeting you. Service is very knowledgeable. They also have a menu in English which was very helpful and accommodating. The 3 1/2 weeks my wife and I stayed in Astrakhan, we visited this restaurant least 5 times and always had the Steak Salad.House beer (light) was mouth watering. No hangovers or nasty after taste.Smoking section and non smoking section available however I believe June 1, 2014 no smoking throughout the restaurant goes/went into affect.By far, a must stop if ever your in town.

Nice design, various menu. Lots of fish dishes, of course. We tried sazan and bersh, well cooked but savorless. Actually side dishes (grilled vegetables) were much more better. Popular place, lots of people. Poor choice of desserts. Nothing special.

Building doesn't look good from outside.typical, old dirty building by the river.inside, is other story.done with style, old Russian style, sweet. Good borsh though bit too salty, same with pork, add garlic with smetana and it become delicious... bit too oily, but you have to used to it, is Russia :-)

Great location sited very close to the river. Food and service were pretty good by Russian standards although an English menu would help the odd foreign traveller that passes through! Vibrant atmosphere with a mixed crowd all seemingly having a good time in a fashionable setting - recommended!

"Schuka" - a fish restaurant with the unique identity of the region. The accent in the gastronomic concept is made on the Astrakhan fish and local products. The restaurant is located in the heart of Astrakhan: within a 5-minute walk the most important sig
During my numerous visits to Astrakhan I normally used to end up in Mindal or Aquatoria for dinner. This time I found the pearl - Shchuka. Away from the promenade noise, it's a cosy place for superb fish dinner. Relaxing atmosphere, interesting design, very tasty dishes (tasted sturgeon, pike), as well as the starters - all nicely cooked and well presented (sometimes even unexpectedly).Highly recommended. For hookah lovers - very good choice of mixes. The man in charge is very professional too. Thanks for your feedback! Be sure to come back again!

A nice place to dinner. Big selection of Asian and Caucasian cuisine. I personally find the food a bit different from original recipes, but the overall quality is well ablve average. The atmosphere is nice, as well as water pipes. The sofas are pretty relaxing. Well worth its money
