Govindam is situated near the Assam secreteriate.Positives:Decent pricing, quality of snacks and sweets, only place in Guwahati where Chole bhature tasted like Chole bhature, hygienically served food, variety of sweets, you get good tea also, south indian food such as dosa and uttapam available, chaat counter etc., hot jalebis.Negatives:Parking is a menace. They don't allow you to part in front of the shop. Seating arrangement.Overall a decent place to take your family for an evening snack. They are open from morning and you get stuff for breakfast also.

The place is great for weekend trip. The place is away from town on and in surrounding natural environment. There is elephant riding, boating, horse riding etc. Swimming pool is also there. The food is great there to have. One have to wait for food served as there is rush in weekends.

Never ever will visit a place like this. Worst worst worst place....will always advise people not to go n have food here. Momo quality is pathetic....meats are not cooked n maida covering also not cooked. You will feel sick immediately after having their momos....
Staff are very polite and always ready for pampering. The choice in menu is good. But quite expensive compared to other pizza outlet. Also the pizza we ordered with extra cheese had little cheese. Domino's cheese bust leaves it behind in the race.

John's Kitchen is basically a fast food restaurant. The taste quality of their food is awesome. The prices are too nominal. A treat to people who love junk foods. Youngsters of this locality visit this place very often. It is a cheap and tasty restaurant.
