We were going to be having dinner at another restaurant in the evening and decided to visit somewhere different for lunch. We stumbled following the apps directions and eventually arrived and were directed through the kitchen to our tables. A little strange but as this was clearly a traditional family business and the food was amazing, home cooked and the hosts did not speak much English but that did not matter.
A highly recommended place off the beaten Camino track, well worth tracking down. Otherwise we would have just stopped at one of the cafes on the main road. This place is about three blocks off the main road so is not difficult to find and I would recommend the experience.

Shop tasting of the Camino de Santiago, with breakfast and plates specializing in iberian cold meat and cheeses. You can buy our products through our website. We organize tours to the Monastery of Sobrado intended to occupy the free time of the pilgrims
We were enticed in by the large paella at the front door. Looking for a quick meal after a day on Camino. We just did s regular serve of paella not the pilgrims meal. It was ok. Not the best but filled a hole.

Stayed here for one night whilst walking the Camino. We booked a twin bedded room, but one bed was a camp bed, which was very uncomfortable. The bedrooms and public areas need investment as they look very dilapidated and old fashioned.
The breakfast was very basic; processed ham and cheese - not great.
I would personally give this hotel a miss, if staying in Arzua again.

A éviter.

Small but pleasent cafe. Lady behind the bar could have been more friendly. Difficult to differentiate the cafe from others.

On our way walking the Camino de Santiago we stopped here for lunch. Sampled the local cheeses from this area of Arzua as well as an excellent mixed salad. Very helpful & friendly staff. Enjoyed our lunch and relaxation while taking in the view of the valley.

While walking the Camino de Santiago we stopped here to get out of the rain for a glass of wine & beer. Nice vibe there playing wonderful Spanish music. Friendly staff & brought over a sample of local appetizer for us to try. Great bar area, not sure about what other food they served but there was a full menu. We had just come from lunch so did not eat there. It is in a great location on the main street and I would imagine it would be a great location to sit outside had it not been raining. I would go back.
