The Norfolk Arms hotel has a wealth of history and heritage. It’s a charming Georgian Coaching Inn, built over 200 years ago by the 10th Duke of Norfolk. It soon became the local meeting place and a popular resting spot for weary travelers. To this day the Arundel Society for the Prosecution of Thieves and Felons still hold their annual Dinner at this Arundel Hotel - a tradition which dates back to the 18th century. The Norfolk Arms hotel is set under the battlements of Arundel Castle and has an atmosphere of traditional permanence, the kind that prevails in all the gracious buildings that make up Britain's colorful heritage.
Wonderful location, clean and comfortable room with good facilities. Friendly and helpful staff and a delicious breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much and couldn't fault it, thank you. Also had the best fresh pizzas.

In the heart of the West Sussex market town of Arundel, The Swan Hotel is a traditional country pub with 14 stylish ensuite rooms. Full English breakfast with local sausages, fish and chips and drinks, The Swan Hotel really is one of the town's hottest eateries. Free wifi.
I visited the Swan in Arundel this week. James served me at the bar. I found his manner to be unfriendly and cold. I feel that he would benefit in a course in communication. Such as sham as the Swans other staff seem to excel in great customer service.

We booked directly with the hotel, The staff and so helpful and friendly, the rooms are lovely and the beds are so comfy we didn't want to get out of it, but I'm glad we did as the breakfast was so nice and everything cooked to perfection. We stayed for 2 nights early June, and apart from a bit of a mix up on our rooms, we really enjoyed our stay. Several amenities were not available due to re-furbishment, but it didn’t effect our stay. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, but more importantly the staff were excellent and really helped us throughout our stay. Will be back.

We stayed here for a local wedding having booked months in advance. A day or so before (aka no option to change) we were told that there would be a DJ on until midnight in the adjoining bar but it would be quiet after. Actually the DJ was firing out bangers at festival volume and MC'ing over the top until after 1am, about 2m yards from the room's window. Then, smashed locals were milling about in the dark carpark outside the door shouting at each other for a bit too (by the cars). Why?? The room was reasonably presented but tired and obviously done on the cheap, the mattress was thin and you could feel the springs scraping each other and poking you, the bathroom was abdly fitted and you had to jerry rig the shower head sideways to get the water to dispense into the cubicle, not down the wall. The electric towel rail was locked on so was scorching hot all night next to the bathroom door and the plumbing groaned and grated for 5 mins afte running the tap. Needless to say we didn't have a restful night. We came down for breakfast and things were equally dissapointing there, one lone staff member was tending to the breakfasts and she seemed to take an immediate dislike to us as she was eminating angry mean girl energy at us throughout. We were travelling with vegans who had called head to make sure there was something they could have for breakfast, turns out that doesn't count for much as the same staff member came over to the table 3 times to tell us that more and more of the full english wasn't available (impacting them each time). This was delivered with a signature shrug and walk away as if to say, I couldn't care less. The vegans got beans and tomatoes on dry toast. In fairness the bacon was pretty decent but everything else was cheap and bland, and if you do go, whatever you do, do not take them up on a poached egg, I'd have swapped it with a squash ball in an instant. Oh and the food took 50 minutes to turn up with the staff feeding everyone else in the restaurant first, despite us arriving first. I know what you're thinking, these were probably horrible guests and the staff were doing their best... Nope, we were fully chill and polite throughout, the extent of our 'grumbling' was to queitly ask if breakfast would be long as we had people waiting on us. If this had been a £40/50 B&B I'd not be so harsh here, but this room was over £100 and for something twice the price of a holiday Inn room, they need to do a heck of a lot better, on service and ameneties.

I have to say we weren’t looking forward to staying at this hotel on the basis it was next to a petrol station and drive through McDonalds but needs must when the racing is on (Goodwood) and your nephew is getting married in the middle of the South Downs. Staff were lovely throughout our stay. The rooms are basic and although clean they do need a bit of tlc. There was a slight smell of old ciggy smoke lingering but I do have a very sensitive nose. At £90 per night for a double room I would say you get what you pay for and need to accept that. It was very quiet – so much so that the main noise were the sheep and cows in the adjoining fields. There is a bar which was great for a couple of drinks when we arrived – we were the only ones using this facility. The main problem is the occasional queue for drive through at McDonalds which can cause a long delay in getting into the hotel car park – a filter system would have been a good idea. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. All in all a good budget option in a stunning (wider) location. Just overlook its immediate location.

Welcome to the town house, we here at the town house hope to ensure that our guests have a comfortable and relaxing stay. If there is anything that you need to make your stay more enjoyable, please do not hesitate to notify a member of staff, they will be happy to help. The Town House is a splendid regency building, with great views overlooking Arundel Castle or the picturesque rooftops of Arundel. Based in the centre of Arundel’s historic Georgian town you are only a few minutes away from all the town’s attractions. This one-of-a-kind Georgian Town house was built in the 1800s and is grade 2 listed, however the marvellous ceiling in the lounge bar is much older. The ceiling was originally constructed and installed in Florence, Italy in the late 16th century. The ceiling was hand carved from walnut and then gilded to give its stunning finished look unique to the period. Plaster copies where later put in to create the arch over the bar in the 1950s. It is our stunning architecture and elegant en-suite bedrooms that set this delightful bed & breakfast apart.
We got married at Arundel town hall, my wife stayed here with her bridesmaids the night before the wedding they stayed in the family room on the top floor two adjoining rooms with a bathroom in the middle, then on the morning of the wedding they moved down to the bridal suite at the front of the hotel over looking Arundel high street & the castle, the room is lovely & to top it off a four poster bed, they even sent the breakfast up to our room the next morning, Maureen who works there, is amazing, nothing was to much trouble, she is so lovely, we can’t wait to come & stay again! Thank you again for the best experience

Disgraceful attitude to my request for a ground floor room which I requested due to my disability, here is the response I got: Good Morning We have one family room and that’s upstairs and you have to climb 15 steps and we don’t have any disability facilities in room. If you are looking for disability facilities then you have to find somewhere else. Thank You and kind Regards Arundel Park Hotel I found somewhere else more accommodating.
