this is a great little bar. Opens from 10am till late at night. Good selection of drinks and a nice range of freshly cooked food from fried breakfasts to classics like liver & bacon or steak & chips with lots in between. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere - the guys running The Globe Bar make everyone feel at home and can't do enough to keep their customers entertained and relaxed. If you're in Silencio you must give this place a try - I'm sure you will be back again.

Fantastic little bar with very friendly and helpful staff, thank you once again for your support and advice when we arrived to find our selves with no apartment due to being conned. Can not wait to come back later in the year for your lovely breakfast and coffee also the quizzes.

Just had our evening fish and chips at The Golden Chip with my family. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food...amazing fish and great portions! Sat outside, the lady quickly arranged a table for our family of 7. Got a gin from the next door bar and soft drinks and English tea on tap from the fab staff. If youâre visiting Tenerife you must try this place. Made our evening. We went to las galletas from Los Chris.whilst walking along the prom we stopped for a beer and then decided to have lunch.the other half had a lentil soup which she said was superb ,we then both had sausages,peas and onion gravy (one with chips and one with mash).lovely meal,good service, recommended

Initially our impression was good, a friendly welcome. But thats were it stopped. The "English " version of the menu was littered with basic (easily correctable) mistakes.The food was very average, fairly bland and at best tepid.Before I get slated, I k ow this is not an English venue nor are the staff native speakers of English but with a little cate some of the basic mistakes could be rectified.

We visited here on the last day of our holiday hoping for a lovely family meal. What a disappointment! We ordered starters and main courses. There were only ourselves and another table of three but we still had to wait 45 minutes for our starters... well sort of! My husband's main course arrived the same time as the starters and my starter arrived 15 minutes later. Once we finished, my children's main meals arrived but my main was nowhere to be seen! 20 minutes later we chased it with a waiter and he said "sorry, hes a bit stressed". We paid the bill minus my main course as two hours later the kids were a little restless! Dont bother going here, although the food tastes ok, it's a lottery what you might receive with poor service!Dear Jo,Sorry to hear about your experience but I doubt you left the review for the right place. We do not have any male waiters in our staff, only 2 females to begin with and secondly the this week was very busy for us with full terrace. Kind regards, Owner

this restaurant was just outside our hotel, well round the corner, our family had some great english breakfasts here. not got one bad thing to say about this place will def have more breakfasts here and sunday dinners next time we visit del selencio

Dined here a majority of evenings on my month stay.Every meal was cooked to your requests from fresh ingredients.The chef and waitress were very pleasant and helpful.Best to book a table as they are very busy. Great for a quiet meal or a special occasion Not expensive for the quaity and service provided. Shall return there on my next visit to the island.
