Find out what Lebanese restaurants to try in Yerevan. Long fought over by warring empires, the city of Yerevan survived centuries of foreign occupation, finally becoming independent with the fall of the Soviet Union. This capital city, a center of Armenian culture, has celebrated its freedom with a flurry of construction and a growing population. Despite this push forward, history survives in Yerevan - The Institute of Ancient Manuscripts houses books dating back to the 9th century, and the ruins of the Erebuni Fortress, built in 782 BC, still stand.

Everything starts with adzoukh. This is our philosophy. The most basic of cuisines is one prepared on a fire billowing out of adzoukh (charcoal). We are returning to the roots of man by providing the most basic cuisine made to perfection: Western Armenian
After reading the many reviews we choose Adzoukh and indeed all the reviews are true! The food was really good and the host is a lovely gentleman who adds a personal touch. We were well impressed and came again for more delicious food :)

Elieâs Lahmajun is a traditional family run business serving a wide variety of Western Armenian cuisine in heart of Yerevan. Tucked away near Yerevanâs bustling gold market this small Syrian Armenian enterprise is one of the cityâs best kept secrets. Elie
Ellieâs Lahmajun, has some nice options for vegans and vegetarians. The food was delicious, staff was really friendly and they prepare and serve really quickly. The food was fresh and tasty. We have not found many places in Yerevan serving tasty food. Recommended
