Reviewed By J8707XNjohntWe booked for five nights relying on the photos and reviews. Our room had one window at the front which had bars and was blcoked. We had no natural light and felt like a punishment cell The furniture was dated and the fridge rusted. The bathroom was cramped and had a very old suite. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything outside and next door. We tried to put the booking down to experience but after three days had to check out when we were offered no help or refund This is the first time I have written a review like this Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else

Great location, poor hotel!
Reviewed By MarioRJ86Pros: The apartments are located near the heart of Buzios, "Rua das Pedras". Very good location and good room view. Cons: No room service, no elevator, too many stairs to get into the apartment (really not recommended for Seniors), bugs, very simple apartment, poor security and too expensive. When my wife and I stayed there in March/2016, the toilet in the apartment was clogged before we checked in.

Reviewed By nathaliearayacEs mi 3era vez en Buzios y esta vez elegimos una Pousada que nos sirviera mas que nada para llegar a dormir. Pousada que se encuentra aprox a 7-8 cuadras de la avenida principal (donde pasa locomoción para ir al centro), lugar muy acogedor, de ambiente familiar; con habitaciones sencillas, de mobiliario discreto y escaso. Luce muy limpia y bien mantenida. El baño es pequeño, no cuenta con agua caliente (pero no es necesario debido al calor que hace). Si necesitas limpieza de la habitación hablas con la persona encargada para que lo realicen. Desayuno simple (cafe, leche, pan y mantequilla), si quieres desayuno continental debes pagar $20 reales mas. No cuenta con estacionamiento propio, pero si el automóvil queda en la calle no le pasa nada ya que el sector es muy tranquilo. Esta pousada cumplió con nuestro objetivo (confort de sueño) y agradecemos a Denise (su dueña) por entregarnos información respecto a los lugares que nos faltaba por conocer. Solo mejoraría la climatizacion de la habitación, pondría un aire acondicionado, ya que con el calor a veces cuesta descanzar

Great Value Pousada!
Reviewed By David RThis is a small, quaint pousada. It's a no frills kind of place (no pool, etc) but that is part of its charm. The price was 1/2 of what other pousadas in the area were charging and for the money this is an excellent choice to stay at. Wifi and breakfast were good and free. Front desk staff were very helpful and attentive. Location is great, just a short walk to the beach!

Wonderful Experience
Reviewed By phiskyCalmaria was our home away from home for almost two weeks. During that time, the hosts welcomed us with open arms, including inviting us to their daughter's birthday party and taking us on a private tour of Buzios. Rooms are quiet/clean, breakfast is good and prices are reasonable. Walking distance to many good restaurants in Porto da Barra and two great beaches - Praia de Manguinos and Praia de Geriba. It's about five minutes outside of town but the Cooper Buzios bus system is easy to use and safe. A+, absolutely recommend.
