Ate lunch at Loafin Joes on a Saturday while visiting our son in law school at Univ of ARK. Easy to find and parking at the restaurant.Very casual and open. Menu was varied with sandwiches as the top choice. Both my son and I had the Sorry Charlie with pepper jack cheese (tuna salad, bacon, pepper jack cheese). My wife had Tender lover which was a ranch based chicken breast. Both were quite good. But in our opinion the home made potato chips were the high light. We had bar b que and parmesan cheese chips. They were outstanding. Half a sandwich is enough but I got a whole so my son could take half home for later. Service was excellent.Overall an outstanding experience and we hope to return.
What to do and see in Springdale, United States: The Best Places and Tips
When I first relocated to NW Arkansas over a decade ago, I had to deal with the fact that there aren't very many good restaurants in the area. There just isn't. Pizza included.Eureka Pizza used to tout ads citing their "Buy 1, get 2 pizzas free" for quite sometime. It isn't uncommon to see people ordering their 6 pizzas for $36.00 special for school/team celebrations, meetings at the office and the like. If that sounds like a great deal, it is. But buyer beware - you DO get what you pay for. The pizza crust is flavorless and it tastes like cardboard. Seriously. The toppings are sparse, too.The pizza is OK if you are in a pinch for time or money. It is easy to pick up a "better ready" pizza for $4.99 by simply pulling up through the drive through window. (On Monday's, these sometimes drop down to $3.99 each.) I think what amazes me is that Eureka Pizza continues to brag about winning 29 awards. I have two theories for this: 1) it is hard to find a good restaurant in this town, so the "mediocre" pizza wins awards hands-down; and 2) this pizza place is not located in a city that really knows good food, like Chicago or New York. (Trust me, there would be no awards if this place was located there. None.)The other day, I received an email from Eureka Pizza's founder, Rolf Wilkin. The email talked about how often customers commented on their "cardboard crust" pizza, and how, based on these comments, Eureka Pizza decided to change their crust recipe by using a softer flour. I decided to try my luck. I didn't feel like cooking, so I picked up a couple of pizzas, instead. I did notice an improvement in the taste and texture of the crust. It actually did taste better. It was softer, chewier and more flavorful than the old crust. However, my pizzas - one in particular - was not made in accordance with my request. I like a lot of sauce on my pizza. I indicated this when placing my (online) order with them. Specifically, I stated, "Please put a lot of extra sauce on each pizza." Imagine what I thought when I arrived home, opened the pizza box and couldn't even SEE sauce on one of the pizzas. It was DRY, and I mean DRY. How difficult is it to follow a simple request for extra sauce? I guess I should mention this isn't the first time I experienced this at Eureka Pizza. One thing they are consistent with is that their customer service is just a mediocre as their pizza. My advice would be to pay a little extra and get a better tasting pizza elsewhere. (There are actually 2 decent pizza places in town, but this isn't one of them.)
Springdale Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Springdale
Haven't had Pizza Hut in years! Decided about a month ago to order Pizza from the new Pizza Hut in our neighborhood! WOW~ They did not disappoint! We have since ordered 3 times! We typically have it delivered, they are fast and the order is always right! The little Cinnabon's are addicting as well as the buffalo wings! I highly recommend the Pizza Hut on Sunset!
Their pizza is OK. There are much better options around. The toppings are slim. We did pickup from the pizza place/coffee bar/smoothie shop on 71B near the hospital. It was ready on time but once again, the pizza was nothing special.
Where to eat Italian food in Springdale: The Best Restaurants and Bars
It is hard to find decent pizza in Northwest Arkansas. Guido's is an exception to that rule. Their pizzas are delicious and flavorful and they don't skimp on the toppings. My absolute favorite pizza here is the Papa Guido's version which is loaded with pepperoni, sausage, Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, green peppers and onions. The toppings easily measure an inch tall and the pizzas are heavy. Another favorite of mine is the Canadian Bacon Salad. This salad consists of lettuce, tomato, finely diced Canadian bacon and shredded mozzarella. (I eat mine with ranch dressing.) Like the pizza, this salad is loaded with meat and cheese; I seriously think there is more of these items than there is lettuce. But that's OK. The salads are definitely not skimpy, and even a small salad is enough for two meals.I think you definitely get your money's worth at Guido's. The quality and flavor of the food plus plentiful toppings on the pizza and salad make this worth the trip. I will also say that even though Guido's is not located in my neighborhood, I will sometimes call in an order for carryout and drive out of my way to pick it up. It is that good. Seriously.

My best friend and her 2 kids were looking for some high quality pizza. There were several chain choices near our hotel however, the regular delivery options seemed dismal. So we used the reviews on trip advisor and found MJ Pizzeria. It's a small restaurant in a strip mall type setting. The exterior is not much to look at but the inside was reminiscent of a local sports bar or pub. They seated us promptly and our drinks were brought quickly. I noted the large craft beer selection but we did not try them on this visit. We ordered two large pies. The wait for them to come out was about 30 minutes but it definitely worth the wait. We noted they have 1 brick oven to cook the pizza so 30 minutes seemed perfect. Our pizza were cooked to perfection. The sauce, toppings, crust, and cheeses were flavorful and definitely to our liking. My friend ordered some ranch dressing on the side for her crust dipping and she said it definitely tasted freshly made. I will definitely return to MJ Pizzeria on my next visit to the area.
