We've eaten at the Catfish Hole many times over the last fifteen years. We were in the neighborhood and decided catfish was on our lunch menu. Our server was busy, but friendly and attentive. The 'fixins' arrived prior to him taking our order: five hushpuppies, a bowl with perhaps 2 cups of slaw, and a bowl with perhaps 1/3 C of pickled tomatoes. We ordered one (1) five piece fillet meal with a baked potato to share. Our server said besides the upcharge for the baked potato, there would be an additional up charge of $4.99 for two persons to share the 'fixins'. What? The fixins came out before we even ordered. If a lone person had come in and ordered the exact same meal there would not have been an up charge. We ordered no refills; we wanted no refills. No negotiation; two persons sharing get an upcharge of $4.99. Okay, so the lunch did not start well. We knew we'd get delicious catfish. Wrong! The catfish fillets were small, dry and overcooked. The server asked if we wanted butter and sour cream with our baked potato. Butter only, please. We got a tub of vegetable oil margarine. Where's the butter? When asked at the check out registar "how was everything?" I politely told her how everything was. I did not tell her it would be the last visit we would make to the Catfish Hole.Good morning GinNBerry! Thank you for the feedback. Sorry for the confusion in the Fixins... this has always been our policy and it is stated on the menu. I do apologize for the fish size. We have been working with our supplier to address. In the meantime we have been adding an extra piece when the batch is smaller than normal. Very sorry for your overall experience. I hope you will give us another shot in the future. Same ole Catfish Hole and we truly appreciate your business!

Had Christmas Eve lunch here. They accommodated a large group. Food was very good with a good selection. Service good. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Our food was fabulous. It has a little Cajun kick to it. It's perfect, not too spicy and too bland. There nine of us tonight. I think we all loved our food. Portions were generous, well presented, and most importantly delicious. When we eat out we always hope the food will be as good if not better than what we prepare at home. Tonight's dinner met that criteria perfectly. We are already looking forward to our next experience here.

The fresh fish with seafood eteufe was perfect, and a steak was excellent. The service was excellent and we so appreciated the extra time with our friends on a Monday night. Six of us highly pleased with our dinner.

We went to Juicy Tails on a Saturday night when there was about a 20 minute wait. We questioned whether the wait was worth it but after patiently waiting we realized it was more than worth it. The bag boil concept seems to be growing but Juicy Tails does it right. We had two pounds of crawfish with shrimp, corn, potatoes and sausage. Yum! The service is a bit chaotic but friendly. Prices are reasonable given we are talking about seafood. Would highly recommend for a night with friends and family.
