China Inn is one of several Chinese restaurants in Texarkana. I like how they have a drive thru window to pick up your order and take it home. Most restaurants don't have this convenient feature. The food is good and inexpensive, compared to other restaurants. Service is friendly, too. The building is not new, and the location is not the greatest, since it's a distance south of Interstate 30 on State Line Avenue, but all things considered, it's worth a visit every now and then. China Inn is on the Texas side of State Line Avenue, and is more than a mile south of I - 30. After traveling through the intersection with Texas Boulevard, and going beyond Walgreen's, you will spot it in the vicinity of Slim Chickens.

I love that Texarkana has so many great restaurants and Golden Palace with its great Chinese buffet is definitely one of them. And I should know because as an ex-New Yorker, there was always a great Chinese restaurant in almost every neighborhood in the city. Golden Palace Chinese Buffet offers their customers the following Buffets:Lunch Buffet 11 am - 4 pm, Dinner Buffet (after 4 pm) and Sunday All Day BuffetThey also offer Vegetarian and Weight Watchers dishes (Vegetable Deluxe, Stir-Fried Broccoli, Broccoli with Garlic Sauce, Bean Curd (soft or fried) with Minced Pork in Hot Sauce, Sauteed String Bean and Butter Mushrooms priced from $6.96 to $7.95 as well as a Kids Menu of Corn Dog, Chicken Nuggets, Pizza Pockets and Fried Fish all reasonably priced at $4.99 per meal.You might also want to try one of the Chef's 10 Specialties: Spicy Combo, Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Pineapple Shrimp, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Salt and Pepper Frog Leg, Honey Chicken, Parsley Chicken and Peanut Butter chicken priced from $10.95 to $12.95 per order. Staff very friendly food is hot and plentiful a little bit of everything crab with cheese sauce is very good, shrimp, cooked many different ways, mushrooms, stuffed crab,. Very nice casual place to eat lunch or dinner. Easy to have a conversation quite but they do have TV's playing. I like them and am a returning customer.
