We had dinner and the quality of the food is very good. The service is lacking and the atmosphere is similar to a cafeteria, not what I enjoy for dinner. There is no separation in the dining area so you have a huge room with no ambience or character at all. Tablecloths at dinner might help??? Disappointed that such a lovely building was renovated with no thought to dining and at a huge price.
If you have the misfortune of being in the vicinity of Hot Springs Village (which we renamed the 'Witness Protection Sanctuary'), at least you can stave off hunger out in this vast wilderness upon discovering 'Subway' across the street from the West Entry Gate, near Mickey D's, off of Route 7. They are staffed with really nice people and have consistently good sandwiches and soups. Their warm Philly Cheese Steak and chicken noodle soup is actually tasty. Subway is a very busy little business with a comfortable atmosphere for eating in if you're not running as fast as you can to get away from Hot Springs Village!

I have been to Ouachita BBQ several time and my favorite item is the Sliced Brisketsandwich with onion rings. The brisket sandwich is the best I have eaten and theOnion rings are homemade fresh cut and NOT frozen! Service is always fast and friendly.

Experience unique, drive-in dining with made-to-order food and more than 1.3 million drink combinations.
This was our first time ever at a Sonicâs drive-in. There was nothing else open at 11 pm in this area so we decided to try it.  I had the Supersonic double cheeseburger. She had the Chicago dog.  The food here was good. This restaurant had four tables with bench seats on their front patio. Unfortunately, the tables were dirty with some huge spider webs all over them. This was a turnoff.Â

Continue to be a favorite when visiting the Jessieville area. Catfish is a good selection but could you add one more fillet to the basket?
This is a true hidden gem. They make delicious deli sandwiches, barbecue sandwiches, with all the sides; they have a meat market that is excellent .

We stopped by for lunch and had the best pizza in the area! The cheese and sausage pizza had a medium thick crust with a lot of meat and smothered with delicious cheese. It was outstanding!! We witnessed people ordering pizza and taking it home - probably for supper. Stop by and enjoy!!They also have an extensive menu of other great selections.

Neighborhood Grill with a casual and friendly atmosphere. We serve lunch and Dinner, seven days a week. Tanner's offers a wide variety of cuisine, from sandwiches, signature salads, fish and seafood, steaks and of course...our Broaster Chicken. We have a
This restaurant is located adjacent to the East Gate of Hot Springs Village Retirement Community in a remote strip shopping plaza that's nearly a ghost town. The one large vacant building, was a grocery store that's gone out of business. There aren't many dining options in this area, so the clean appearance and reasonably priced dinners at Tanner's seems to attract a large senior crowd from 'the village.' The atmosphere and noise level reminded me of a loud school cafeteria with everyone talking at once. The overhead LED ceiling lights were so bright they hurt my eyes. The adjacent bar area didn't seem as bad, but all tables were filled. The menu was reminiscent of a diner specializing in mostly chicken dishes, burgers, fries, sandwiches, salads, and a few homemade deserts. I noticed our waitress was WAY overloaded and breathlessly running from one large table of people to the next trying to serve everyone. When she brought us our check it was correct, but upon returning with the credit card, we had been overcharged a substantial amount. Most people wouldn't have double checked the incorrect charge, signed it, and left. Fortunately, I have a photographic memory and noticed the charge wasn't the amount we had originally been presented. It took awhile to flag down our waitress and I explained the disparity. She apologized and I simply said that perhaps they needed an additional waitress. She said someone was in training. It wasn't just being overcharged that I didn't appreciate, but the frenetic atmosphere of obviously overworked employees who were bound to make mistakes. Needless to say, it was not a pleasant relaxing dinner with a friend, but a page out of Flo's Diner on a bad night. The country style food was OK, but nothing out of the ordinary. I won't be going back for more...

We went with another couple. Our waiter, Mathew, was great. I had grilled catfish with coleslaw and mashed potatoes, it was very good. For dessert, I had rhubarb strawberry pie which was outstanding. Everyone else enjoyed their meals, but the service was what really hit it out of the park!
