We had a very good meal here and the service was friendly, fast and helpful. The atmosphere is fun with the pond and ducks, but on the whole this is a somewhat typical restaurant featuring Mexican food, all of which you will find very familiar. Not a special experience, or a surprise, but we were expecting neither.

We have been eating at Hacienda's since it opened. It is my favorite location for street tacos. They are as close to what I eat in Mexico! Love them. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Angel's Tres Leche cake is the best I have ever had. The environment is relaxed and comfortable. Plan to enjoy a great meal.

We were visiting friends who live in the area and they took us to Hacienda's. It looks like it could easily be any type of restaurant until you taste the food. The shrimp enchiladas are addicting. The mole is beautifully balanced. And the barbacoa wrapped in agave leaves is subtle, smokey and delicious. We even enjoyed the chips and salsa, which are a level above other Mexican restaurants.

On the West side of Cave Creek Road, just North of Tatum Blvd. at the NE side of the Safeway Shopping Center, this location serves both Taco Bell and Pizza Hut products too. (Never tried their Pizza Hut products.)The Drive Through normally has a steady stream of vehicles receiving timely service; however, there are ample tables inside. The staff is always friendly, upbeat, and is familiar with the products offered, lately always something new needing further explanation. Although the staff isn't always the same, the product preparation is.You can be assured of prompt service, neatly prepared food and personal service.Naturally, a great place for "take-out"Their Mexican Pizza (Taco Bell's) is great as is their Nacho Bel Grande & Tostada. Of course their Tacos are also good....for take out, just order the "crunchy Taco" and add your own sour cream at home.In short, the eatery is (probably) one of the better Taco Bells. If Taco Bell is on your "to do" list and you are in the area (Carefree Hwy/Cave Creek Rd. and Tatum too) then head for this Taco Bell location.

Really good Mexican fast food. I had the Spanish Omelette, it was really good. I have also had the bacon breakfast burrito and it was also really good. I have never had lunch / dinner here so I can't tell you about that yet.

Six of us went to dinner for a birthday celebration at Spotted Donkey, we all live in the area. Hadnât been to the Spotted Donkey for sometime so thought we would give it a try again. Still very disappointed, extremely overpriced, ridiculous. The food was not good at all, probably one of the worst meals we all have had in months. The wine and drinks too are overpriced. Wonât return EVER againThank you for your review and for giving us a try. I am sorry you do not enjoy your experience with us. I guess every home run hitter strikes out once in a while.

Used to visit each time we traveled out here. We now live withing driving distance and love coming here for lunch. Navajo taco is the best, although last visit I had the cheese and spinach enchilada and discovered another new favorite. Friendly cooks, very casual atmosphere - you walk through the kitchen and eat out back. Just love it.

We really enjoyed El Encanto. The setting is comfortable and relaxing and the service and food is very good. Lincoln was a wonderful server - and provided great guidance with the extensive menu. Chips and a variety of salsas start your meal. Watch for the hot one! For entrees we especially enjoyed the fajitas!Enjoyed the experience so well that when our family came to visit us while in Cave Creek, we took them for lunch. The venue is also great for kids.
