Fresh Wasabi is in a strip mall near Streets of New York, Home Depot and Wal-Mart. From the outside it doesn't look like much, just another chain restaurant in a strip mall. The inside won't blow you away with decorations and atmosphere but it's very cozy - a nice place to go for a date night. Compared to Tomo in Goodyear, the roll sizes are kind of small but the food is excellent, they will make custom rolls for you which some other places will not do and the service is always very fast and friendly. The owner offers a military discount, which again, a lot of places around here will not do.

Stopped here with a friend who recommended it. We decided to order two different items and share them. The Chicken Pho (rice noodle soup) came in a huge bowl with a side plate of bean sprouts, Thai basil, and jalapeno which you could add to the soup as you wish. It was excellent. We even had some left over. The second dish we ordered was a Vietnamese Crepe with shrimp, It comes with a side plate of lettuce, mint and fish sauce. This order takes extra time to cook so they recommend ordering it as soon as you are seated. I think the crepe was fried because it had a brittle consistency. It was good but the soup was better. The service may have been the best I've ever experienced. We were in a booth and there was a button on the wall to push when ready to order. There was no wait for any part of the meal but also no feeling that wait staff was "hovering". During our visit we were served by several different people all of whom were efficient and friendly.I ordered a glass of house wine which was $7.50. There is no choice except the type of wine, not the brand. This cost more than the crepe. I will be back for the soup and to try some of their other offerings.

One of my favorite local take-out restaurants. We've been getting takeout from Chen Wok for at least 10 years. The people are always busy but are very courteous with really good food. My wife, kids and I have tasted many of their dishes and enjoy the majority. We have ordered a good share of the menu items. This time the wife and I had orange chicken, a pu pu platter(4 shrimp, 4 egg rolls, 4 crab puffs and 4 fried wontons), and for a little extra an order of fried rice, while it cost a little extra than free steamed rice. It is worth the extra. The orange chicken was great it didn't have a heavy coating and had a nice texture with not to much sauce, just enough to coat without making soggy(perfect) the fried rice was good and the pu pu platter was a great addition of textures and flavors. If you live in the area and have not tried, you are doing yourself a disservice. Try it I know if you like this type of food you will love this. This meal lasted for dinner, lunch, and we still had rice to go with dinner I made next night. Plenty of food

Establishment clean, orderly, and helpful staff. Enjoyed lettuce wraps, beef and broccoli, a couple of sushi rolls, and their latest item, guacamole rolls. That's right, guacamole rolls. Guacamole, mixed with water chestnuts, some other veggies, rolled and fried to perfection. Served with a sippy sauce that's just right. Give it a try, it's delicious and filling. Good stop doe the next trip, hopefully the guac rolls will remain on the menu.

I'm not fond of many buffets, but China Buffet in Surprise, AZ was better than most. There is a huge selection of items including typical Chinese dishes but also several seafood choices and a sushi bar. I was able to get a very good meal staying away from many fried foods. The sushi was constantly being made fresh. My wife isn't a fan of buffets so this was a guys thing on this trip. Next time she will come just for the sushi. I also had oysters on the half shell and peel and eat shrimp. I didn't try the crab legs. I also had some orange chicken and a few samples of other typical items found on a Chinese restaurant menu. There is a discount for seniors.

Was visiting Phoenix and my friend suggested picking up Thai Food so we visited Line Tahi and the service ordering and picking up the food was excellent. The food was prepared to go excellently and the quality of the food was great. Would highly recommend and I can only imagine that the restaurant its self would be an great place to eat. I would for sure return and eat here.
