We enjoyed a lovely dinner on the covered patio at such a reasonable price! Had a hard time deciding my gluten free dinner, all the options sounded so good! Both of our meals were a combination of wonderful combination of ingredients cooked to just the point. Our server was cheerful without being over the top and helpful explaining our questions on the menu.

Love this place. It adjoins Changing Hands Bookstore that is always good for a pre or post lunch browse! I had the half sandwich soup combo this time. Beef and Gorgonzola on sourdough bread with the potato soup! One of my best lunches to date! This location in Tempe can get really busy. A favorite with the snowbirds, mom's lunch bunch, office workers and retirees! If you don't like crowds, go a little early like I did on a Thursday!

Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes creates an all-you-care-to-eat dining experience with a daily selection of made-from-scratch soups and salads and hand-crafted muffins, focaccia, breads and tasty desserts.
I think they have a great salad bar with far more choices than most places. Several types of yummy soups with toppings you can add also. I do wish they offered some sort of meat or chicken..but then the price would be higher.

Tucked away in a dismal mini strip mall, Khai Hoan presents sophisticated Vietnamese cuisine in a minimally decorated space. The pho is sensational, and there are many more creative choices, including dishes you don't see elsewhere. A small but serviceable Chinese selection also is available. Service is quick and friendly. Tops!
