Never in the whole of the USA have I met staff who were so miserable. A smile or indeed any reaction would have helped.The food was ok but for a restaurant based on outer space a zero atmosphere is a negative.

Clean restaurant. That's the only thing I can say positive. I ordered a "Famous Star" to go. After leaving I find the lettuce is rotten, yuck! How does this happen? You're a burger place, shouldn't the kid in back know what rotten lettuce looks like? Thankfully I didn't get sick. I won't be stopping at this Carl's anymore.

This is a regular Subway with a rather large seating area. It has the usual offerings, but Gila Bend is a long way from any other place to stop. Coming from the West, traveling east on I-8, we exited on the first exit that said "Subway", but we must have driven about 3 miles before we came to it at the other end of the town, near the next exit. So perhaps the next exit is the one to take. There was a line at the counter, probably because it was Xmas eve day for lunch and there are not many places to stop on I-8 in Arizona. The restrooms were adequate.

Gila Bend is one of the few towns in the desert when traveling I-8, so one has to stop when one can. This Subway is inside a service station. It has a large seating area. The menu is the same. There was a line at lunchtime. The restrooms are basically clean and adequate.
