We were there on a Tuesday night which was one of their special nights. Two steak filets dinners, with soup or salad and an additional side for just $29.95. Food was very good and we both were filled after eating. Attractive restaurant with very friendly and attentive staff. Place appears to be popular with locals as well as travelers like us. If we were in area longer we would have gone back to try something else.Thanks for the review! We're always happy to welcome locals and travelers alike, especially for our great daily specials. We were a group of 4 couples, relying on previous reviews to find a place for dinner. Everyone raved about their dish. I had a sirloin that was very lean served in a light and tasty sauce of ginger and other ingredients i canât remember. While others enjoyed salads with creative dressings, i opted for soup of the day, a mildly spicy corn& chiles, and potato with a chicken stock base but creamy consistency. Quite good! The menu has something for everyone. The wine list had about 20 by the bottle and 8 by the glass-none i knew and Iâve sampled or heard of a lot of wine. They take extra care to find uncommon wines to pair with their food. I canât forget about the charming owner who is out at tables, explaining her restaurant or the specials, she made everyone feel welcome. This was not dinner it was an experience! Not in old downtown Cottonwood, just a short ride and worth it.

As other reviewers have stated the owners did an outstanding job of renovating this old bar into a restaurant. There are outside seating areas front and rear and impressive unique decor you don't find in a typical restaurant. There is plenty of parking, with a front and rear entrance. You are given two menus, one with Mexicans items and the other Louisiana Style Seafood. Since we don't eat spicy food anymore, but love seafood that option was out! To judge a Mexican restaurant I always order the same thing, Chile Relleno. It was the best order I have ever had! Confused why Mineros are offering Louisiana Style Seafood which was not inexpensive in a Mexican restaurant. I hope they work out the "quality" bugs others have observed. They are in a city with lots of Mexican restaurants and not being the best in all areas will be a roadmap for failure.
