Great little place. Nice selection of craft beer on tap, along with a small selection of bottles. Decent pub food, quick service, friendly staff. Liked it so much I went back twice more during the week. Will definitely return on my next trip to Phoenix.

We visited Tempe today and enjoyed Mill Avenue. My husband and I sat outside for lunch at The Handlebar. I ordered and Gruyere Burger and I think it might be the best burger I ever ate, fries were also good along with a dipping sauce. I did think the beer was a little overpriced but still very enjoyable. The service was also very attentive.

Philly's Sports Grill is your local neighborhood bar & grill that offers great food, a large draft beer and cocktail selection, huge dog-friendly patios and plenty of big screen TV's with all of the DirecTV sports packages, including PPV Boxing and UFC. O
This place has a ton of TVs and they leave remotes at the table with individual tv at some tables. I got the philly, which was average. It was a little dry. My wife got the cheeseburger and it was really good. I expected the philly to be better as that is what they are known for. Good place to watch a game though, service was attentive and friendly.

Not fancy, picnic tables outside, which is the majority of the floor plan. Inexpensive good seafood bar food. Great escargot (what?????), fried clams, oysters raw and fried. My son's favorite bar to munch in on Tempe. Also highly recommend the Black Coffee" beer. It's a black and tan with Guinness on top and a coffee beer on the bottom. Really good.

Said they could seat us in 15-20 over the phone AND when we arrived. 30 minutes later when I'm checking on our table availability, they say 15-20 more minutes and the kitchen has been behind by 45 minutes so they are slowing things down! It really doesn't matter that your aren't running your restaurant smoothly, there is no excuse for diverting us from other viable options by incompetence in not running the restaurant well. We had plenty of extra time before graduation to sit down for quality time with family until this place threw an hour away and made us stress for getting quality time in our dinner plans.Hey Matt, thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for misquoting your timeline on getting a table. We identified several areas for improvement, specifically efficiency in seating, during the most recent Graduation Season. Rest assured future event weeks will run exponentially smoother. If you find yourself back in Tempe, we'd love to invite you to the Brewery for another shot at lunch or dinner. Nice location for this chain. Our party generally had a good experience and enjoyed their meals, but one had a unsatisfactory salad. (Shrimp had gone bad, with a jelly like consistency despite having been cooked ok). Management did all they could -- replaced the meal with an alternate selection, comped the meal, and got rid of the rest of that bag of shrimp -- but ideally the problem would have been caught in the kitchen. We'll go back, and management did all we could expect, but it wasn't a great experience.

Often go here with colleagues, friends. Try the chicken dishes. The service is pretty good whether at the bar or at tables, excepting any new staff. The prices are about what you now expect to pay for a business lunch. Once in a while they change up the menu - I'd like to see more: steak options would be a good start. Salads are not too bad and the overall atmosphere is pleasant. Give it a try if you're in the area.

On a recent trip to Arizona, my daughter had wanted to visit a restaurant called Rula Bula in Tempe, a suburb of Phoenix. It was a little hard to find, even with GPS due to its main street being partially closed for construction. However, after circling around a bit, we found it and an adjacent parking lot. There was a music festival going on out on the back patio area, so we had the restaurant almost to ourselves. We both ordered fish and chips which was extremely good. The restaurant has a quaint atmosphere and service was good. Recommended.

The original Four Peaks in Tempe is the Mother Ship to all things Four Peaks! Daily Specials, Single Tank Series, and seasonals make each visit unique! Take a tour of the brewery and watch one of us get way too excited about water, yeast, malt, and hops!
I ate lunch today at the Phoenix airport at a place called 4 Peaks in the A terminal!!! I ordered a salad and it was really good. My server was Natasha and she was the BEST!!! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks they had!! She also was super attentive and made sure I got my food and drink in almost record time as I had a small amount of time to eat until my flight!!! I also ordered a âPeachâ beer and it was really cool, and goo, and so refreshing!!! My readers know me as a wine snob and sort of non-purveyor of beers!!!! But this beer was great!!!! Good price and I would recommend this place again and again!!! Good food, drinks, and with Natasha, super service!!!!!

Visited with friends. Smallish indoor space but with character and comfort, outdoor patio seating by sidewalk. Cornish pasties (like a foldover pie?) of all types, both traditional and creative modern interpretations. Good selection of beers. Staff great, though music a shade loud for conversation.
