Ate here recently and wasn't too impressed. Food was good, place was clean, portions small and staff good but not that great for the price.

This was our 3rd time coming to this Rosati's location. The 1st time was great. Denise was our bartender and she was chatty, pleasant, attentive. Our food was delivered as ordered and in a timely manner. 2nd & 3rd time we had Heather as the bartender and she was not at all attentive. The last time we came we sat for about 5-8 min without being waited on even though the bar was not at all crowded. There were 3-4 off duty employees who seemed to have Heather's attention rather than her customers. When we finally got waited on for drinks we still had to wait...unacceptable. Then we had to flag her down to order food. After quite awhile (& after another couple got their pizza which was ordered after ours) another staff member came to us to tell us our pizza had been burnt so they were remaking it. We were offered & accepted an order of garlic dough balls while we waited. When we went to check out I looked over our bill and after waiting to once again get Heather's attention questioned our bill. The bill was correct but Heather never came back & told me it was....she just took it, asked a question and never came back to us or brought us back the bill. I don't know where she learned her customer service skills but they are horrendous!! The pizza was good when we finally got it but the hassle and lack of service makes me question coming back into their facility to eat. I had heard this place has been many other bars/restaurants....maybe the staff doesn't help the owners make a go of their business!

I visited the Surprise restaurant. Trip Advisor needs to add Surprise. My impression was of a mix between Chipotle and Subway. Enter the restaurant. Select type of crust and sauce. One price only one side. Add as many ingredients as you like. Still same price. Order will be brought to your table. Pizza is cooked in about 5 minutes in large oven. Beer and Wine were still not available in Surprise store and mgr said it would be two more weeks. Thin crust was tasty and well cooked. Ingredients were fresh. Ambiance is similar to Chipotle. High ceilings, open, modern looking with tables only. Not a large seating area. Also, a patio in front and to the side. This restaurant is next to the new In and Out burger in Surprise. We would return.

Eddie, the GM, with an extensive background in the food industry and just an overall really good guy will take care of you...and so will his fine employees!For the cleanest food, I suggest the gluten-free pizza crust, which frankly, is amazing, even if you eat wheat. I also recommend the pesto sauce and get pretty much fresh vegetables and of course Kalamata Olives, both types of garlic, etc.If you like mozzarella, try the ovolini mozzarella and ricotta is always delicious...at least in my world. You do it your way, but the way I get my Blaze practically leaves me breathless!

My daughter & I went here as a first time patron & boy were we surprised. It's nothing fancy, just a typical restaurant/bar type; but boy was the food good. This place is a coffee house in the front of the building w/homemade gellatos & pastries. Inside you have sandwiches & pizza; a wine bar & I think they make their own beers. We both shared 3 large pretzels w/cheese dip first & then we both had BBQ pork sandwiches topped w/coleslaw & homemade french fries as our side. Let me tell you the BBQ sandwich was to die for, and they make their own BBQ sauce. Before we left the place was packed, mostly tables & chairs but everyone looked to be having a good time. Our waitress was Nadine Paxton & she was so helpful & such a pleasant young lady. We will definitely be going back even if it is quite a ways from where we live in Peoria & Scottsdale. I say give it a try.

We passed by this place and could not pass up the smell of wood-fired pizza pouring out of it. The space is upscale and very comfortable but the food is the real star here. The pizza is just fantastic and they typically have a special pizza every day. The last one we had was the jalapeno and bacon, amazing. Be aware that these are thin crust pizzas and come out very hot!

Hard as I try, I can't get too enthusiastic about Mod Pizza, despite having tried several locations. Their red sauce is too spicy, the topping options too limited and, at this location, the staff was less than enthusiastic. The person who made my sauce was very stingy with the toppings -- sauce didn't even cover the crust fully -- and the food just falls short in my opinion.

I don't know about other locations but this one was excellent and reasonably priced. I ordered a medium specialty "meat" pizza with original crust and it was a excellent pizza regardless of price. I would recommend this place to anyone- in fact a cashier at a local store told me about Barro's , she told me to get the wings...... maybe next time.

We were staying in Goodyear, Arizona for a month and wanted something fast and easy for our first night. Up the street was Taste of Italy restaurant, (and their brochure was also in the 'collection' of items at our rental home that recommended places to eat and things to do). Drove up to their location and ordered a pizza with our favourite items. It was excellent - so much 'stuff' on it that I could only eat one piece and my husband 'downed' two! Leftovers the next day! When we had visitors a few weeks later, we returned for another of their specialty pizzas! We all loved it!

Always a good place to go and get a great menu but the staff always makes it. The bar staff especially. Always friendly. On their game. Know what they are doing. The retro decorating is a nice throw back as well. There is a reason they are always busy.
