Reviews on American food in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. Scottsdale has more spas per capita than any other city in the U.S.—so whether you’re looking for the latest medi-spa technology or a new-agey, bohemian vibe, there’s sure to be something for you. It's a good thing, too—after spending all day touring the beautiful desert, you'll be grateful for some pampering.

Can't say enough good things about this resort restaurant. Delightful, well-trained staff. The ambiance is gorgeous. The view breathtaking. The food wonderful. Went for my birthday lunch. Had chicken Milanese and Duck Confit Cavatelli. The server had the kitchen split both entrees in half so that we could share. Wonderful flavors, very large portions. The sourdough bread and butter, yum. Sent us home with a B.D cupcake. I could see making this a regular special occasion restaurant.

My wife swears by this place, but I wasn't too gung-ho when she wanted me to try it with her one day, but I went.Well, to my surprise, the food was actually delicious! I ordered a pizza and I loved it!The prices are a bit high, but I guess it's normal for the Scottsdale area.

We started our meal with The Perfect Hound (Kettel One Vodka and Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice) and it was the best in Arizona (nicely chilled too!) and Founders Solid Gold Lager. Distinctive drink menu that has some new wines choices that look great! We ordered the cup of Gumbo (on Wednesday) and small Caesar. Portions are perfect to start and quality ingredients evident in both selections. Our main course was the BBQ Brisket Sandwich and the Short Ribs with Jalapeno-Cheddar Grits. Outstanding in every way! Fork-tender meat, lovely sauce, flavorful grits will keep us returning again and again! Top-shelf service and friendly staff! We will be recommending this restaurant to our friends and neighbors, but you will love it too!

We were seated right away without a reservation on a Friday afternoon. We asked for suggestions. The âstoli doliâ was the popular drink and it was fabulous. vodka and pineapple juice does not describe it properly. We started with the calamari. I hesitated because sometime calamari is chewy unless it is from a steak. It was tender and very tasty. Best I ever had. I had the lobster crab cake and hubbie had Tuna. Both were delicious. We had the greatest service. We were served a drink and dessert because it was our first time. They also gave us a professional type photo because it was our anniversary. Top of our list for Scottsdaleâs restaurants as of now.

Creative daytime dishes & fresh-squeezed OJ share menu space with lunch faves at this buzzy local hot-spot with a comfortable vibe.
We were staying at the Great Wolf Lodge and decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. My son found this place on line. The food was so yummy (fresh squeezed orange juice, smooth coffee, eggs, hash browns, bacon, Eggs Benedict, Huevos Rancheros, etc). The place was clean and atmosphere cozy. The manager, Willy, was a delight and our waitresses Rochelle and Caden were friendly and attentive (we liked it so much, we went back the next morning). I highly recommend this place. We are from Tucson and hope they open a "Butters Cafe" here!

Came up from Texas for a quick trip to Arizona. Staying in Scottsdale and seeing the sights. Picked Butterfield's based on reviews and it was a hit. Good food, service and reasonable prices. Coffee was excellent. We came mid-week and had no problems getting a seat but I can imagine it getting plenty crowded on the weekends

Is there anything better than sitting back with friends, telling a story over a drink (or two) and sharing a few laughs? Come into Mowry & Cotton and youâll be drawn to stick around and have another. Relaxing the lux style of The Phoenician and drawing in
We enjoyed the Caesar Salad (big enough to share), side asparagus, halibut and hangar steak. Everything was light, presented amazingly and delicious! Only recommendation would be to make the experience a little classier for evening service. Its the same feel for expensive dinner as it is for daytime lunch by the pool.

We dined at Sel for the first time last night and we extremely impressed with food, service, and atmosphere. The four course prix fixe menu offered wonderful selections (my wife and I chose different dishes for each), all of them beautifully prepared and presented. Chef Levine is very talented; we found Sel to be the best restaurant we have visited in Scottsdale/Phoenix in our many stays here. Superb sauces. Cocktails and wines were reasonably priced and the prix fixe, while expensive, was worth it. Sel deserves its diners and attention from reviewers!
