The Mediterranean town of Argeles-sur-Mer is proud of its Catalonian roots, and the Catalan influence has left its mark on everything from architecture to local cuisine. The lively harbor, long sandy beach, and tree-lined walkways are even more idyllic against a backdrop of the Pyrenees.

L'Hostalet offers quality bed & breakfast accommodation in a traditional village maison de maitre on the pretty Place de la Republique in the heart of Argeles-sur-Mer. The Guest-house is full of charm and surprises, with typical Catalan floor tiles, old parquet staircase, grandfather-clock, salon with large marble fireplace, period Luterma chairs and antique wooden crockery closets, and terrace on the village square. On three floors, guests have a choice of five comfortable chambres with en suite facilities and views over the square or down the street to the 14th century church.
Stayed for 3 days. Lovely room with ac in centre of Old Town. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay. Lovely locally sourced shampoo and hand soaps too. Walk to the beach is only 30 min or so but after your dip, you will be keen to return to the old town as it is a very different vibe. Mathieu recommended a great restaurant La Gamete. We went twice! Modern decor in a traditional building

Hotel blue azur Argeles sur Mer, beautiful hotel lit by the sun of the Pyrenees Orientales, Hotel 800 m from the beach, rooms, swimming pool, private parking, catering.
stayed in this hotel for 9 nights in late July. The good: location - walking distance to the village centre, the port, the main resort area and a nice beach owners / staff - all very friendly and talkative the pool area - nice size, lots of seating, warm water and very clean the bed - very comfortable air con - not many hotels seem to have air con in the area balcony - we had a large balcony with mountain view bathroom - good size, modern and a very powerful shower, lots of storage for toiletries decor - the hotel is well decorated with a nautical theme and is very clean the bad: the only negatives are that the towels are a bit thin and not many of them. drinks that the hotel sells are quite expensive (but this is france where drinks are expensive) we heard the people staying in the room next to ours having sex, but thankfully it was all over in about 10 seconds. i would recommend this hotel and there are some nice restaurants nearby in the village, most of the restaurants in the port and the resort area are very touristy and not really very good. there is also a lidl 5 minutes walk away. staff speak perfect english

The hotel, located on a quiet street, emphasizes hospitality, simplicity and friendliness
While vacationing in Argeles-sur-mer, we found this Triple room on Booking. We wanted to stay in this hotel but we did not. The reason: Horrible experience with the Front desk person (an owner?). He was arrogant, rude, and unprofessional. He was even dressed inappropriately (short shorts, an undershirt and flip-flops). He was chatting on his cell phone the whole time. Never greeted us. Just asked if we had a reservation. We did not but mentioned the room. He tossed (!) the room keys to us and said to pay $75 for the night. We asked to see the room first, and he refused. He returned to chatting on the phone. Appalled, we left.

Situated between the beach and the village. Warm welcome and cosy atmosphere.Traditional Catalan cuisine under the shade of a wisteria several hundred years old.
Auberge du Bon Vivant is a hotel at Argelès-sur-Mer at a 10 minutes walk from the beach. It is a little hotel with a few rooms. Most of the rooms are very basic There is a good bed, douche and lavabo. Toilets are in the corridor, exept in the luxuary rooms. The service is very friendly. Breakfast is simple but good for a price of 6 €. You can have lunch and dinner at a very fair price and it is very tastfully. The 'plat du jours' are cheap and very good. I can really recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights in September. Pluses: - Excellent location on the bus route from Perpignan to the beach, and Collioure, and just behind the train station - Right in Old Town - Friendly, warm hosts - Beautiful, relaxing garden! - Cute rooms in bright colors (all ensuite) - Quiet, clean, & secure - Outlets by the bed - Excellent price point - Free parking in front of the hotel (if such things matter to you) - walking distance to all restaurants and shops Minuses: - Awful wifi. It was down for 2 of our 3 days, and when it was up, it was very slow. - About 1 mile to the beach, so walkable, but a long way! - Breakfast is not free Overall, highly recommend

A few kilometers from the beach and close to the mountains Albères which are the natural border between France and Spain, we will be happy to welcome you. We live in the village of Saint-André, six hundred meters from the city center, in a natural and peaceful property. Our cottages are located in an independent villa adjoining our home. We offer five entirely new rooms, quality, two to four people, air-conditioned, with shower and toilets.
Stayed here 3 nights and would certainly stay here again. Situated in a quiet area, the rooms and breakfast areas were spotlessly clean. Excellent continental breakfast with home-made jams etc.The owners are charming and helpful. I would recommend this property for anyone wishing to visit this area of France.
