New ownership. Scary words for hungry hunters. The place was crowded (good sign) but we quickly got a table and met our server, Nicole. Smiling and friendly, Nicole took our orders...instructed that I gag if green peppers touched my plate. She patiently promised that would be no problem on my smothered chopped steak. Sure enough, no green peppers but a huge serving of meat cooked properly and smothered with cheese and cooked onions. Another in our party had pulled pork..another hit with crispy pieces mixed in with tender pork, a sign that the meat was cooked recently and not two weeks ago. Overall the best meal we had in Arcadia. We returned for breakfast the next morning after our deer hunt but, alas, no Nicole. Breakfast was OK, but the server really makes the meal! Enjoy!!

This is my favorite pub & grill in Arcadia. The bar area is clean, the staff is friendly and Mary Flury (the kitchen magician) serves up a variety of quality food offerings that will satisfy your cravings. Stacked sandwiches with tasty combinations, homemade coleslaw, surprisingly tasty mashed potatoes and gravy along with the usual pub grub adornments like fries and breaded appetizers can be found among the menu items. My personal favorites are the Detox Signature Sandwiches and the Wednesday offering of a 14 oz slab of Prime Rib. Usually I have a salad instead of fries and I can't get over how fresh tasting even the salads are. Mary says that they try to source any produce locally. You can taste the difference. I recommend the Detox to all of my motorcycling friends as they travel through town. Fortunately for me it is only a couple of miles from my house. (I could almost push one of my bikes there, but I won't.) Best sandwich place in Arcadia, in my opinion.

Good location right in downtown Arcadia. It was recommended for the lunch so we tried. Homemade and served hot. Quality is just what you'd expect. Prices were real reasonable.

Ate lunch here with mom. She's been coming here for years for girlfriend lunches. Quaint British pub feel inside the Ashley Homestore. Menu has sandwiches, fish and chips, salads, soups, and desserts. Lunch special is 1/2 sandwich and soup for $5. We split a (non-special) ham and Swiss on marble rye ($5.95) that came with fries and pickle. $1.00 charge for splitting. Sandwich and fries were very good.
Shared a Tiger Cake for dessert, also tasty. Popular with the lunch crowd. Prices good for portions served.
Will go back next time I'm in Arcadia running errands or shopping.

Friendly, clean and a fair price for quality food. The area doesn't have many choices other than bar food so this is a great alternative for a family or those who can't get comfortable on a bar stool. The staff was very gracious as we were running late, but there was plenty of hot food (delicious soup that night) and a nice salad bar to meet our group's hunger needs. Thanks...we'll be back. Enjoy!

Recent new owners have remodeled the back room of a friendly country bar and grill into a very nice dining room. Our meals were very good; a smaller menu but plenty of choices for us. Service was outstanding - even the cook came by to make sure that we were happy. We will be back.

First, it's Larry's Lookout, not Lockout. Second, who cares as long as it's open with a new owner, friendly staff, very good selection of bar food, nice decor, a pleasing variety of cold beer and did I mention a new owner? Opens early (we were deer hunting and it was open for breakfast at 4 AM) but we didn't stop until 11 for lunch. Carrie and Joan(?) were on duty and were a positive delight! The locals are already returning and I will return for homemade soups, great (messy) burgers on the overlook and a better overall attitude. Get on the overlook when the fireplace is going...Italian food coming next door!

We have enjoyed pizza from this owner for 22 years. She has been a staple of Arcadia and has consistently served the best pie in town. Nothing fancy, just very good! Parking in back. Reasonably priced.

Most McDonald's are hectic places because they are what they are, that much is fine and tolerable. However, this McDonald's is one to stay away from! I've stopped while traveling numerous times and the most recent stop was the last straw. In the past I've received the wrong food, slow service or dealt with the messy tables. On our last visit, the clerk was terribly rude to my wife who couldn't seem to get her order across to her, and then she totally messed it up anyway. This made us wait all the longer for the missing item she had already ordered. Another problem is the restroom. You know how they have those health department cards over the sink telling employees to wash their hands, usually for 15 to 20 seconds? At this McDonald's there is no way to achieve this because the faucet has a sensor but the water rarely comes on and when it does it's for only a few seconds at a time. I surely hope the employees have a separate sink to clean their hands! Arcadia isn't a very large town, but it's a crossroads for truckers and travelers who have very little options for a quick bite. In spite of our fondness for McDonald's, we'll learn to eat next door at the c-store.
