Things to do in Temuco

We live half-time in Pucón half the year and Il Fiorini (the sister restaurant of Il Fiore in Temuco and Cafe de la Pa in Pucón) is our favorite restaurant. We go about every 6 weeks. On our trips to Temuco every 2 months or so, we have stopped several times at Il Fiore. The atmosphere is pleasant and the location is very convenient to the ClÃnica Alemana and Portal Temuco ("the mall.") We have ordered the same dish that we order in Pucón- filete a punto with mushroom sauce and grilled veggies. This is the second or third time when it wasn't nearly as good as in Pucón. First, the place was quite noisy. We were just coming from day surgery at the ClÃnica Alemana and found it quite jarringThis time the veggies were okay but the mushroom sauce didn't come for 10 minutes. I asked 2-3 times and it finally came in a small dish, but wasn't wild mushrooms like in Pucón, just plain old mushrooms. By the the time they arrived, the steak was cold. No apologies. I almost didn't leave a tip, but felt embarrassed not to do so. When I said that to the waiter, no convincing apology. I think we'll stick to Il Fiorini in Pucón rather than dining there in Temuco.

Very Italian restaurant. Their waitress are classical Italian dressed. Very nice and warmer. The food is very good, time waiting for the order was Ok. But a nice detail: dishes came to the table warm and that is appreciated. We appreciate your feedback , we will definitely very glad your experience

Excelente comida árabe, atendido por su dueño. Platos contundentes y precios razonables.

Perfect gastronomy in Temuco, excelent attention, with a redesigned menu for demanding palates. Located near to the Jumbo Los Pablos market in Temuco. Excellent to enjoy in family an exquisite Peruvian ceviche prepared with all Inca sins in mind.

Great quality coffee, pastries breakfast, lunch and sandwiches on the footsteps of Cerro Nielol. An ideal space to enjoy good food and a cozy environment. Come meet us!
The Restaurant Ruibarbo is definitely the best place for lunch in Temuco. The meals are always fresh unique and are made with love. I can recommend it because I stayed for quite a long time in Temuco by beginning of the year in that area. We do not had any reasons to complain there and we stayed there a lot!!!They offer the best espresso based Cortado i ever got In addition the handmade blueberry cakes are awesome. Furthermore the service is for above average and whole atmosphere is decent.Normally most of the people going there are locals because the location is near the public prosecution department. As a tourist you should go there too, not only because the owner Alberto knows the backcountry very well and he always have good advises for you. Last but not least the prices are fair and you always can grab a free parking lot in a good neighborhood.Thank you for your comments,We are glad you appreciated our food, coffee, pastries and the way we look out for our faithful customers. We agree that our location is a good parking spot to head downtown and to Cerro Ãielol. We are always happy to share some local knowledge for nature lovers, snow enthusiasts and people finding their way in Temuco.AraucanÃa will always be here for you!

Went here on a rainy evening... and ordered a large dish of pasta to share. It was really good and went went with the local wine. Service was excellent. The have a really great selection of beers, wines and spirits. The interior is very dark and dungeon-like. Not really my kind of eating-out scene.

While I wouldn't claim that Jack's has the best burgers in todo el mundo, this is definitely one of the best burgers I've found in the Southern Cone so far. I would definitely recommend going with some friends and sitting out on the patioâ the breeze is nice, and you can people watch! Also, definitely go for the fries. You'll be a happy camper.

This is the second time I visit this restaurant in Temuco. The food is great: I particularly like their executive menu for lunch. It provides a great list of options of good Peruvian entrees. Service can improve: while everything was correct, there was a lack of attention and of kindness that was remarkable. I may choose to visit again in the future.

So, here I was again for a business dinner that was more on the casual side. Everything was wonderful. We had the prosciutto table that was great. The osso bucco was delicious. I find this restaurant perfect for a casual conversation with options from appetizers and sandwiches to full entrees. Service was wonderful (thanks, Jose).
