Aranjuez is the home of Palacio Real (Royal Palace), the spring residence of Spanish kings since the late 1880s. The beautiful gardens surrounding the palace are just as famous as the residence and are the inspiration for “Concierto de Aranjuez” by Joaquin Rodrigo, one of Spain’s most significant composers of the 20th century. During the summer, join the local tradition of eating dinner in the picnic area next to the Tagus River. UNESCO designated Aranjuez as a World Heritage landscape in 2001 and a very large casino was built in 2005.

Small and nice hotel Located in one of the main streets of the city. In the heart of the tourist area a few meters from the Royal Palace and Los Royal Gardens. We have an Irish-style Restaurant-Cafe where you will find the best atmosphere to relax, have a good coffee or a great beer.
We got a quiet room at the back side. A good room with very good light, but a little hard beds and very hard pillows. The bathroom was cold. All right breakfast. Lots of free parking on the street outside the hotel.

Expensive. Not value for money. Outdated. Smelly. Noisy. Terrible service with missing towels, dirt in the rooms, mould, rooms so hot unable to sleep. Poor breakfast. Breakfast staff very rude. They kept on missing some of the ordered items, you had to go to them to the bar and clean your own table, and then you got yelled at and answered rudely back if you complained. We were there with my little girl and felt intimidated. We will never return and we will tell others.

In our campervan visiting the area. Bank Holiday weekend and no camping spaces available. Hasty booking, but lovely couple of days stay. Clean, friendly, with plenty of parking spaces outside. Food mediocre. Typical hotel grub.

The isn't a dinner menu its listed as room service! Breakfast very nice continental only warm dish was served as scrambled egg In a small pot. Given 3 stars - rooms are not cheap would have appreciated a nightcap!

No wifi in room (101) No toilet door (just a curtain) No light in shower!?! No door into shower room. No banister on parts of stairs (Health&Safety) No lift. (not mentioned in description) A great, quirky, boutique Hotel/hostal, Let down by basic amenities, What a shame.

The site is located outside the town of Aranjuez; about a 30 minute walk. Our site was a good size and had water and sullage which was an advantage. The amenities were clean but there was an unpleasant sewage smell at the start of our stay. We saw maintenance men working on this, and it had improved before we left. If you’re planning a day trip to Madrid, allow for the walk (or taxi) to Aranjuez station but from there, the train service to the capital is regular. I think the site warrants three and a half stars but some areas would need an upgrade to reach four stars.

Hostal acogedor, situado en un edificio en el centro histórico de Aranjuez. Destaca por su trato familiar, cercano y profesional, ademas de su bonita y típica corrala.
Very traditional Spanish Hostal. Good location, 10 min walk to Palace Gardens etc. Clean comfortable room , decent breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh tostadas and coffee. Staff friendly and helpful, good wifi connection, very pleasant internal courtyard garden. traditonal old-style Spanish experience - definitely stay here rather than a modern soulless chain.

Located within the charming town of Aranjuez, just 50 minutes south of Madrid, this beautifully renovated, 18th-century hotel enjoys a stunning setting beside the palace gardens. The Hotel Don Manuel offers air-conditioned accommodation in a royal setting. Each room comes with a satellite TV and private bathroom with a hairdryer. Stay in the same place the 18th-century royals chose to visit during their summer holidays and which is now an UNESCO world heritage site. You can take a stroll around the vast palace gardens that include the delightful man-made island on the River Tagus and the Narcissus Fountain. Explore the surrounding Tagus Valley that is famous throughout Spain for its strawberry farms and delicious asparagus.
We got a quiet, but not very big, room at the back side. Good beds and bathroom. Air conditioning didn’t work properly. Some dust between the walls and floor. All right breakfast. Lots of free parking on the street outside the hotel. We think the hotel was a bit overprized.
