Reviewed By Bill81501We stayed in the middle of the week and had the place to ourselves! Caitie and her husband were friendly and welcoming, and provided us with a delicious breakfast. Our room was quite comfortable and a great place to relax. The best and most memorable part of our stay, however, was meeting the innkeepers' young son! He is such a gregarious and outgoing child with an infectious spirit. If you stay, I really hope you get to meet him!

Reviewed By wamsjam1Excellent hospitality, attentive staff, felt safe, spacious lobby with complimentary coffee bar, breakfast buffet was amazing, pool and fitness room were clean, everything was easily accessible and in good working order, Queen suite was so beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had such an enjoyable stay, wish we’d had more time to spend a couple more days!

Reviewed By ahavri142032When I pulled up to the Super 8, I was immediately put off by the appearance. It looked deserted, dirty and something I did not want to stay there. Hoping the inside was better than the outside, we checked in. Unfortunately the inside was pretty bad too. One good thing I will say about it was they did have very comfortable pillows and beds.

The Babcock House is a family-owned bed & breakfast, restaurant and catering service. It has six guest rooms and and the restaurant can seat fifty seven inside and fifty more on the deck in nice weather. The restaurant's food is Southern style. Options for catering menus are pretty limitless.
Great B&B in historical Appomattox
Reviewed By alanmP7730CCWhat a wonderful experience! My wife and I traveled to the Appomattox area for birthday/anniversary and found the perfect place to stay. Talia and Charles are great hosts and made us feel right at home. The room was clean and spacious and had everything that we needed. The meals were excellent from breakfast to dinner. Very good location to visit Appomattox, Lynchburg, and the D-Day memorial in Bedford. Will try and make it back during the fall. Thanks again.
