This was our 2nd visit after a long period, and we were equally pleased as the initial visit. The concept is quite unique and offers a nice change in experience. Welcome was warm and informal, amuses different extremly tasty and well presented. The starting dish was excellent: aspargus as main component, prepard in various ways, with complemetary ham and ingredients that paired well. A nice start to dinner. We selected red wine for the table to pair mostly with the main dish. The flavours in the meat were very tasty and well accompanied with vegetables. An unforgetable dish. Dessert was a play on a traditional panna cotta, but again the presentation made the difference. In terms of taste, one of the best meals I had in the last months. I'll be back here

De Garderobe is a small cosy restaurant, with personal service, without a fix menu, but a nice suggestion menu, changing all the time so never boring!

Cosy restaurant with contemporary Belgian-French food. Specialized in wines, beers and oder amazing drinks. Food prepared by the owner with fresh seasonal products. PASSION and a heart to please our costumers is our main goal.
The main clients in this restaurant are over 60 years old. Decent food, sometimes a bit heavy. Big portions, but very tasty, old fashioned cuisine. Great for family dinners or brunches, in my eyes definitely not for romantic occasions. The prices are a bit higher than i would prefer. (but for this particular family dinner, i didn't have to pay, so ...)

Friday the thirteenth in December 2013 Billie's Beer Kafetaria opened the doors. The original name was still just "the Kafetaria. " Billie's Beer Kafetaria is part of a dying breed of genuine, old-fashioned brown cafes. Billie's Kafetaria Beer is not just
Billie's Bier Kafetaria is without a shadow of a doubt one of the best beer bars in this most beautiful of cities. The bar looks super, an authentic traditional interior set over two floors with great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and innumerable beer posters and enamels adorning the walls and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, it's a great bar perfect to unwind in. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Monday night, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who took our order of a beer each,we opted to have an ipa from Founders Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. Ive been to this bar on many occasions over the years, the range of beers is always interesting and the quality of the way the beers is served is always exceptional, this probably explains why this bar is always busy.My ipa was outstanding, a rich, hoppy and well balanced beer bursting with taste and very easy on the tongue, an ipa with character. We both really enjoyed our beers and although we only stayed for the one beer and our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Billie's Bier Kafetaria we had a great time. Billie's Bier Kafetaria is really easy to locate on a street called Kammenstraat. A great bar,if your in the area well worth a visit.

I love everything about this place. First of all the interior. It is trendy. Second on a menu you have everything you need for breakfast, coffee break, lunch, 4uurtje. And as they call it with âspecialekesâ. Good options for vegan person. They have everything fresh. Last but not least - host/owner is attentive and friendly. Honestly...the place is so good that you risk to miss a train.
