Located in a courtyard in the heart of the city. We have been here a few times for their bbq chicken. Cooked on a bbq pit right so you'll see how it is cooked. Portions are generous and the food is fresh. Also served is bbq'd pork and beef. Of course rice and soup. Good place to go with friends for food and drinks.
Don't expect to have a waiter come to your table and take your order. From our experience, you must go to the counter to order and pay first.

Just in the middle of nowhere....we found the best Pizza ever eaten in the Philippines.
Truly Italy style with all the famous original cheeses and hams of Europe.
Also red wine imported and located direct at the beach....great experience
a must visit when you are at Panay, Antique
Thanks Daniel and his crew

The store is located in the town proper of Tibiao, Antique. A typical air-conditioned bread shop with some tables and chairs inside to cater "dine-in customers". Price is reasonable, taste of food is delicious, Service is OK and location is great and clean.

This was a pleasant cafe with lovely native wooden Seating and excellent sea views to while away a lunchtime.
It is on the same property as the renovated, relaxing Sira-an Hot Springs.
The chicken that we had was pleasant and properly grilled. However some other menu items were unavailable.
Prices were cheap: P15 for a small bottle of Pepsi at a cafe is good value considering that the price from a sari sari store is P10.
Staff were not very communicative. Perhaps they were intimidated by the presence of a foreigner (me.)

The pasta and pizza were amazingly good. Had to come back the next day for dinner again. Fresh seafood for the pasta and good ingredients for the pizza. They used REAL cheese, not the stuff your buy at any grocery store. hehe.
The service was friendly and speedy. Great ambiance and pretty sunsets for dinner. It's a bit far from everywhere else, so you'll need a ride, but it's so worth the drive from Culasi.

Located in a brand new building near St. Antony's College this is the "first" authentic Japanese restaurant in San Jose. Authentic with respect to its chef, who is Japanese. They serve Sashimi, which is dependent on the supply at the local market. I had Tuna Sashimi and chicken teriyaki, which was well presented and tasty. Miso soup was home made and quite nice. There was no Japanese beer or Sake, only local beer was available. The inside of the restaurant is quite small and there were a couple of tables in front. Parking is limited to about four cars.

“Hamburgers and PIzza”
Newly opened in October 2015 in a small "strip mall" of sorts - "France Carmel Center," Next to a Japanese restaurant near Saint Anthony's College (SAC). We stopped in to see what they had to offer and how the food was. I had a "Mad Burger" for 75 pesos. Could have had the "Mad Extraj" burger (Think the extraj stood for extravagant as the bun was 7 inches. The one I had was large enough and the patty was quite nice (not the typical 1/4 inch flat patty you normally find). Their hamburger buns are made insight so they were really fresh, as were their chips. Chips were thinly sliced potatoes fried in oil like french fries. Overall, very impressed with the food and the staff.
Pizza we enjoyed: "Meat and Fries," "Supreme." Also had the "Buffalo" wings which were spicy and delicious!

Go where the locals go. Based on the number of people coming and going, this definitely is the place where they go. Located steps away from the road, you will actually miss it unless you know where to go. Simple interiors, no frills. The waiters can do with a training on how to set the table and which parts of the cutlery, glasses, bowls not to touch :) Having said that, all these observations faded when the food arrived. SERIOUSLY GOOD sisig. One of the best I've tasted. Big serving, crunchy and juicy pork skin, generous liver cuts, a little spicy, perfectly cooked egg on the hot plate... I'd come back if only for the sisig. The ShabuShabu Hot Pot is another great discovery. Served on a big bowl, hot, fresh veggies, tasty squid balls, mushrooms... Great food!

We were the only ones when we got there for dinner. The Native Chicken Binakol with Coconut Meat was recommended as well as a fish dish. The fish was forgetable, served cold. But the Binakol was good. My first time to eat the dish with coconut meat instead of the usual lemongrass It has a sweet taste compared to the sour taste of the typical Binakol.
