This. Is a great place to get lunch or dinner. They have a very simple meal, yet very tasty and healthy portions. I lo e their minestrone soup with bread. You can also purchase it to take home. Most people can get a meal for less that $15. Very reasonable, but you have to pay cash. That's the only thing to consider.

Arrive early for the best selection, on Fridays they have donut holes filled with custard or lemon! Delicious but sell out to quickly

We went to get breakfast but were told they were no longer servimg, however; the guy at the cafe highly reccommended Lumpy's. My cousin and her family have lived in Pittsburgh for over twenty years but never knew about this place.
We were thrilled with our new find!! Thr food was amazing!! Service was second to none and the staff were fab!
We visited a few more times during my three month visit to the USA and bragged about it to everyone lol.
I miss Lumpys!! I have mad cravings for the breakfast since returning to London
Can't wait to indulge when I return to Pittsburg, hopefully in the very near future!
Lumpy's you rock!!! ❤

This place was touted as the best Mexican restaurant in the area so my expectations were high. The waiter, who was very nice, brought chips and salsa. The salsa looked like it had been served to another group before us but the chips were so stale, I couldn't have eaten them even if the salsa was excellent. I ordered a taco salad which comes in a flour tortilla "bowl". The ground beef had way too much cumin and there was no salsa on the salad. The flour tortilla bowl was stale and didn't even break off, it just sort of hung limply when I tried to break off a piece. Very disappointing meal and since there really are some good places in the area, I won't waste time and money going to this one again.

Mike's Pastry Shop hits it out of the sweet park with every single offering. From pleasing pastries to yummy cookies to spectacular speciality cakes, this bakery is the place to go. A friendly and efficient staff with a "we-can-do-it" attitude, you can't go wrong here. My favorites: The fudge brownies, butter horn pastry and the shortbread cookies. They also offer some can't-be-beat savories like pot pies and breads. It's literally the tastiest place around!

I tried this place after tasting the bean dip from a coworker's leftovers. They raved about this place, and the leftover bean dip was really good, so I thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't really impressed by the "fresh" version, and the tamal was really dry. I guess I'll stick to leftovers.

I haven't been here in years. This place serves probably of of the biggest portion meals in all of Contra Costa County. The servers all hustle around their tables leaving no one without without anything. It's one of the best customer service places I've been in a long time. The food is very good and when they say Country Kitchen, they mean it. It was a great meal for each one of us.

Very good rolls here. Pricey. You'll have a hard time here if you don't read or speak Japanese. We don't go there much because of the language barrier. Food is good though.
