Where to Eat in English Harbour: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Weâve eaten in East before & we like the concept of several different oriental menus combined under one roof. Unfortunately the experience is both disappointing & expensive at the same time. The acoustics are poor with such a large amount of hard surfaces - this means any sound reverberates back & fourth making even normal conversation all but impossible. This is easily solved with the addition of absorbent materials on the floor , walls or ceiling. Having children there after their designated cut off time of 8:00 certainly didnât help. Lightning is insufficient especially when reading the menu with many diners resorting to phone torches. The food is adequate, & not at all worth the the eye watering costs + 10% +12.5%. No, Iâm afraid East falls short in a number of ways itâs noisy, dark & expensive.
