On the beach, Caribbean side. Beautiful Food, People, Cocktais and Sunset. St Tropez/Ibiza Style. Amazing service in a fabulous beach garden. Reservations advised.
You simply cannot better this place for its location. Turners beach is simply stunning. The clearest turquoise water right in front of the restaurant. We had a beautiful lunch, the snapper plain grilled with rice and ratatouille was delicious as was everything else we ordered. Lance is the genial host with lots of local knowledge. The only thing that grated a little was after spending not an insignificant amount on lunch was that you have to pay additional $10US per cabana on the beach. Come on Lance, fair enough if your guests are only having a drink, but surely you can waive the charge for diners. This is the thing that leaves a bitter taste after an otherwise wonderful day. It is not about the money, but the principle. Hi Simon, was nice to see you again and glad you enjoyed your afternoon. FYI the chair rental for 2 people is normally $38US for the day. For our dining guests it's $9. We do make concessions for our diners.-Lance

A new welcome addition to the range of restaurants in this tourist area which is currently full of super yachts. The Italian owner and her French chef partner are cooking at a really high standard in this small, but wonderfully formed wooden building. It'
We had pasted this place a few times & it always looked welcoming, so we decided to give it a go. We hadn't booked, but the lady in charge seated us behind the main restaurant. Although it didn't have the same atmosphere as the front, it was still nice. We realised we needed to book. The waitress came & asked us what we wanted to drink, so we ordered some water & asked if we could order our drinks after we had seen the menu and had decided what to eat. She said the lady would bring the menu in a moment. Eventually the lady did bring the menu, but it was a photo of the menu board taken on her iPad. She proceeded to hold up her iPad & talk us through the menu. In order to see it properly, she had to zoom in to each item because it was very small. She then stood there & waited for us to choose. This was really difficult because you couldn't see the whole menu at once and her standing there put you under pressure to choose. We had one person in our party who doesn't eat fish. There where only two meat options and unfortunately he didn't fancy either. We felt forced to make a quick decision as the lady stood there with an impatient attitude. It was very uncomfortable. After she left, we decided we were not going to enjoy the meal because of the way they had made us feel. One of the party went to tell her we were going to leave. She was cross, charged us for the bottle of water & asked for no feedback as to way. It was disappointing to leave because the food did look good. It was more expensive though than any of the other places we had tried in Falmouth.

LIFE ON THE CORNER is a casual , laid back Bar & Grill in English Harbour with fresh home cooked pub food.
This is a friendly pub, slightly down market compared to nearby bars but full of friendly staff who are eager to help. There is often some kind of entertainment going on and I enjoyed sitting in there watching life go by.

We were touring with the local and he knew the place and the owner. It’s a small joint but the atmosphere were homey. It’s off the main road, but you can’t miss it, because the sign hung in front of the restaurant . The food were delicious , the elderly server took our orders. She was pleasant . The menu is a big chalkboard , you can read from that chalkboard as she pull it in and placed on the chair . We got curry goat, it’s was great curry. We would recommend if you happen to go to English Harbor. We would try something else if we were back in Antigua at English Harbor.

Hubby and I ate here when we visited Antigua in March and saw a hand painted roadside advertising a Curry & Reggae Night and decided to go. We thought it was a local thing, not an upscale restaurant, until we arrived. They had a great reggae band! They had curry and non-curry options to choose from. The prices were in par with other upscale restaurants and the service was friendly. It was casual, relaxed, and very enjoyable. The lobster bisque was amazing and our favorite part of the meal. I hope you enjoy the photos I posted. *Thank you for reading my review! If it was helpful to you, please click the “thumbs-up” below. : )
