Find out what Gastropub restaurants to try in Juan-les-Pins. Monet painted Juan-les-Pins. So did Picasso. If they showed up today, they'd find a youthful summer destination that centers on sunbathing (invented by Coco Chanel, some claim), casinos, nightclubs, and staying out late. TripAdvisor members say the one thing "JLP" lacks is restaurants, but neighboring Antibes, a short bus ride away, has more than enough to compensate.

This restaurant is a little off the beaten track because it's not quite in the town center or along the seafront, so it's not getting as much passing traffic as it deserves. But if you want a more gastronomic meal than the standard stuff in most restaurants in Juan les Pins, this is worth considering. Lovely fresh food and quite inventive mixes of flavours. The place is not really for those on a tight budget; the menu is the cheapest option (otherwise the dishes are pricey, admittedly), but the food and its presentation are of high quality and the portions are generous as well. If you're on holidays and want to push the boat out for a celebratory meal, this is one of the top options to consider.

Had a fantastic lunch here! Given the quality atmosphere and ambiance we prepared ourselves for an expensive experience! Not so at all. It was exceptional value for a fantastic three course meal and great bottle of wine! Good (but slightly limited) choice for vegetarians. Really enjoyed the food and the service! Top tip; take the plat de jour and recommended wine.

Down a quiet street, this small French restaurant served by a single waiter was well worth a visit. Dimly lit with a wine cellar appeal, great atmosphere for a fine meal. Service was very good, impressed with the gentlemen responsible for it all. Food very good. This was a first night in France and could not have started it off better.

Old Antibes itself is a charming and bustling town, full of character. Le Vauban is an oasis of calm, just yards from the tourist bustle, serving a wide range of exquisitely made dishes, with a panoply of delicious tastes. The food will appeal to adults and young adults alike (we were from 12 to 49 years old) and has great variety. We chose the â¬39 tasting menu and the adults also had the degustation wine selection. The food was top notch, the sommelier chose our wines with precision and there was little left on any plates at the end of each course. Interspersed were several amuses bouches, which were a lovely touch. This is top quality dining at a very reasonable price indeed. I highly recommend a visit (suggest booking via the restaurant's website).

Genre : Restaurant de cuisine traditionnelleEn bref : Charmant petit resto. Carte variee allant de la viande de race a une variete de plats vegetariens. Excellentes bieres belges, vins au verre et degustation de rhums agricoles martiniquais.
This is one of our local restaurants and we tend to reserve it for special occasions. Being Valentineâs night we decided to give their Valentineâs menu a try.We couldnât have been happier. The chef produces delicious food at the best of times, but the Valentine meal was particularly delicious. It started off with an amuse-bouche of quailâs egg with a truffle sauce, then a choice of three starters including foie gras, a tartare of scallops or mille-feuille of aubergines and cucumber flowers (Iâm simplifying a bit). The tartare and mille feuille were both excellent. As our main we both had the fillet of Black Angus beef in preference to the fish (always excellent there in any event). It was delicious. A small selection of cheeses and a nougat glacé with red fruits rounded off our meal. The other desserts looked delicious as well. With an apéro thrown in this was very good value for â¬49 a head. Service was smart but unhurried, efficient and friendly as usual, the place was full and buzzing, always a good sign. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Well done to the entire team! Weâll definitely be back!
