We like to go here when the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the deck and look over the lake and be in the sun. This evening though, it was still a little cool for that, so we sat inside. I had the grilled Prime Rib and it was excellent. Their special on Saturday evenings is Prime Ribs and I have enjoyed that too when we go on a Saturday night. We go here about every other weekend because we do like it here.

Kindest and friendliest staff ever! Although indoor seating is somewhat limited, there is also great outdoor seating available on the deck. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac. The beverages are the typical coffee house drinks and prices are average. They were more than happy to accommodate custom requests.Meals are not served here but there are a variety of treats available. We shared a huge chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven and it was delicious! Very nice atmosphere to visit with a friend or two.

Stop here once or twice a year. Food and service are always good so there seems to be consistency here. Nice DQ ty hat is worth a stop when traveling past. We frequently stop there when out for a motorcycle ride for something refreshing. Recommended.

Seating in the old library I'm told with a few tables in the front garden area. Ate here twice while visiting friends in the area..it was THAT good! Ate outside the first night and then inside 2 nights later. Walleye, salad, soup, mini-desserts all excellent! Menu changes frequently...fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The best place in town I'm guessing....I know the locals are really glad it is there. Keep up the good work!

Stopped in for a breakfast one morning during a family reunion. We were staying nearby and it was a convenient location. We were so impressed we had breakfast here each morning we were in town and also enjoyed lunch one day too. Really good breakfasts that were reasonably priced, lunch was good too. I really like salad bars and this one had a decent one with some great items on the bar. We enjoyed each of our meals!

Ordered the Corned beef hash with eggs...so did hubby. Pal ordered a huge breakfast with everything including pancakes! So much food, homey small town cafe atmosphere. Love this, everyone seated close you could hear everyone telling stories. Reminds me of times gone by, Worth stopping. Food was quick hot and delicious. Service was great.

We were camping at Schroder Park close to Annandale and saw a delivery car come in from Jimmy's. We thought we'd give it a try ...called and they delivered the most wonderful, thin crust pizza we had in a long time. It was delicious! I will choose their pizza anytime I am back in the area!!

Went here with a party of 10. They don't take reservations, but made sure they knew when we were coming and surprise....they were all ready for us. We had a very attentive waitress. Very good simple menu.....Nice deck overlooking the water inlet on one side and a view of the lake on the other. Prime Rib just the way we ordered, some of our party had the Walleye, they said it was excellent. Loved the potatoes rubbed in salt...made them extra tasty.

Nice window view of the highway and trees. Five tap beer selections. The food is safe and plain. The staff were nice. The restrooms smelled like they had been cleaned. However, obvious dirt in corners and sticky floor. I will not be back.

While I had to rate this as 3 stars to be consistent with my other ratings, Russel's has a lot to offer. We were there this afternoon to watch a Vikings game. The restaurant serves free taco/ burritos during the game. Customers bring various snacks and appetizers, which result in a wonderful free food bar to enjoy during the game. Russel's goes all out with a fun variety of games like bingo, tickets, and other fun things to do during the game. I won 2 free beers and a large bag of peanut M&Ms. They have a decent selection of about 15 beer taps. A few people around us ordered food and it looked very good...my wife and I enjoyed the free food table. Lots of large screens and good hearted Vikings fans. The owners and staff are more than friendly. Some other patrons told me they have good bands here on the weekends. The restaurant is clean. A fun place to watch a Vikings game or stop for a few hours!
