Reviewed By katiekoThe rooms here were great - large, very clean, and comfortable with good views from the balcony if you're high enough. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The only downsides were if your neighbours are loud - the walls seem fairly thin, and the breakfast was fine but not great. There was a buffet with hard boiled eggs, bread, and bad coffee. The restaurant is on the 9th floor though so you do get a good view. It's right in the centre of town, about 5 mins walk from the main street and the beach is walkable in the other direction.

Noisy, dated and out of town
Reviewed By katiekoThis hotel was unfortunately really noisy - from the traffic on the road outside, other guests in the corridor, and the massive party that went on until 1am in the restaurant. The dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast were good though, and the staff were friendly. It's about 6km out of Annaba so you need a taxi to get into town, but these are easy to arrange and very cheap.

Reviewed By JohnW10255060The Hotel d'Orient is located on the Main Street in Annaba. The rooms are clean and comfortable and air conditioned. The beds are comfortable. The WiFi is very slow and sometimes impossible to get a connection. The breakfast is very poor and the coffee is terrible.

We was in quarentine era of covid when it was the only way to stay on front of sea waves and enjoy the normal summer we used to be in . It has a seaside rooms and acces to their own beach . We rent a Studio for 2 nights The location is good The rooms condition was 4 star Clean rooms and well organised .

Le prix a augmenté. Mauvaise réception Ils vous parlent comme si vous étiez dans la rue, je suis monté dans la chambre et j'ai trouvé le cafard et ça sentait très mauvais. La nuit était bruyante par les femmes car j'étais dans un bar, je savais que cet hôtel n'est pas tenu par des gens expérimentés, et quand je suis parti, je lui ai demandé de me faire un rapport sur la vue, et il n'a pas répondu. Il a dit de mauvais mots. J'aurais aimé retrouver le propriétaire de l'hôtel, ton frère de Tunis

Reviewed By Djalel ZEn raison du manque de disponibilité des grandes chambres, il m'a proposé d'ajouter un lit supplémentaire à 1000 DA que j'ai payé mais ce n'est qu'à minuit et après 1h de réclamation que j'ai reçu qu'un matelas. le veilleur de nuit est désagréable. Les draps étaient sales, j'ai dû demander qu'on les change. Petit déjeuner médiocre au strict minimum, la tisane en extra !

Reviewed By sachahuistaAs of April 2016, the Seybouse was still the tallest hotel in town and judging by my experience, not the most expensive either in Annaba. That would be Le Majestic next door which charged about 1000 Dinars more for a room half the size and much more dingy. I arrived pretty much with a verbal reservation from the receptionist at the Ibis in Constantine when asked about recommendations in Annaba, and the Seybouse came highly-recommended. I paid 5700 Dinars (Le Majestic wanted 6500 or thereabouts) for a twin-bed room (1211) with perfect views of the city and the Mediterranean from the balcony. The room was also huge and the bathroom included just that - a bath and a shower. No curtain though so spillage was regular. Breakfast was poor - it did offer bespoke omelettes - as was the internet but then so is everywhere in Algeria. But plenty of plugs and everything is close by. A taxi to the bus station takes about 10 minutes. Visas accepted. Recommended.
