Everything avout this reataurant is special, service, decoration, food they serve and most importantly owners who are extremely devoted....
First impression, couldn't decide that this was a place serving daily fresh fish or sea food in a unique expression, since the menu does not tell anything and the waitress is just for more confussion Prices are not very well reflected.....So to be cautious, rather than ordering main dishes we went with mezes, appetizers and different options like calamar, and shrimps which was a better idea after seeing that a small piece of sea bass (levrek) is 90tl which we ordered for kids...
Everything was delicious, but to be honest i was expecting to have more unique food.. My favorite was shrimp in butter and fish meatball... Service is very quality and the ambience is quiet satisfactory..The only thing i did not like was, the main saloon, it should be more spacious...
Prices are high as expected, but not very exaggerated compared to the service and food they serve. .
A very good place for a work dinner, or a dinner with friends, however families with kids should bear in mind that the playground is very small and it is located outside of the main saloon...

That is a nice restaurant, not fancy, but with fresh delicious food, and non disturbing waitors. They also have very delicious Turkish traditional Deserts such as kadayıf and baklava, pistachio containing all kinds of Deserts. Standart lahmacun is better than Antep lahmacun in my opinion. Pide and doner kebap is always good. The prices are in acceptable range, and won't probably hurt since you 99 % of the time will be having good food.

Although this restaurant is a classical place in Ankara, the taste of the food did not much appeal to me during my last visit. Everything is fresh made with good ingredients but the spicyness has apparently been rounded for average palates of the capital city. Do not expect much a southern flair.
No alcohol is served, so only good for a lunch if you are nearby. Prices are reasonable.

This is one of the most popular Turkish restaurant in Ankara. The service is fast the food is always great, and the portions are good to feed two people. Mincemeat pide is the exeptional item on the menu, with other succesful variations. Always crowded, however you can always find a table in this huge restaurant, with an huge outdoor eating area also available.

If you want to go to a meat restaurant this is one of thr best in Ankara. Starters and meat from the main dish menu are all good.

This restaurant has been around for some time and i's no wonder as it on of the few places that guarantees to satisfy both your appetite for wining and dining.Order the "mezes" a la carte...try everything! Grilled levrek (sea bass) with the coban salatasi (sheperd's salad) is a perfect summer meal. The white linen service and 60's styled classic modern puts a smile on.

In comparison to other chain cafe/restaurants Timboo’s food is distinctively fresh and delicious. However this does not change the fact that it’s a chain restaurant. Bear in mind that it is usually overcrowded during lunch time. You should be at the restaurant around 11:30-11:45 to find a good Seating. And it can be very noisy too...

I enjoyed one of the best kebab dishes I've ever had in this restaurant. I ordered Masabaşı Spesiyal to have tried a bit of everything, and both the quality and taste were amazing. Very nice and tasty sides are provided free as well. Although I couldn't speak Turkish, the professional and helpful staff took care of everything. The dishes here have an excellent value-for-money and are priced reasonably considering the volume, variety, quality, and the service provided. Highly recommended.

Had a nice little dinner here during the week. The restaurant was unusually empty for being number one on TA, but that just allowed us choice Seating. The ambiance is very nice, and seemed like a great spot for a date. The food was very good, i got the meatballs (more like flavored hamburger patties) and they were delicious. My friend got some fish and said he enjoyed it very much. The appetizers were quickly served and tasted satisfactory. The only reason this is not a 5 star is due to the service. After Reading multiple reviews about how good the service is, it did not live up. We had to have soups and drinks sent back due to the wrong ones coming out. The server did not seem pleased to see us (Americans) which i can understand, but at least pretend. He also only made rounds one time after the dishes were served even though we sat there 40+ minutes.
I would recommend this place to any locals who want a nice date area with good food. I would tell foreigners maybe to skip it, if good service is something they enjoy.

I expected way more or at least different for a place ranked this high...The pizza was ok, the folks and interioir were ok, the price was ok but all together it was absolutely nothing outstanding or memorable. I reckon it is just a convenient place to go to if you stay at the Swiss and are looking for a place to eat for normal prices within a couple of minutes walking (and even in that case, i really prefer Oscar - next to the supermarket - over this pizzeria). Btw, they do have an English menu (handwritten copy without prices) and they nowadays (april 2017) serve beer as well.
