Out of 10 nights,we ate there 8 times it was that good. We were remembered from last year, which was nice. Whilst there,I celebrated my birthday, and they presented me with a fabulous chocolate cake. As for recommendations for meals,we just say anything! Traditional Greek food is A1 here, the stifado and kleftico being superb. It's fairly small and you may have to wait to dine, but oh my goodness it's worth it!!!

A wonderful place by the sea that will amaze you and relax you with the aesthetics, enjoying the sun and the sea in the morning with coffee and snacks until late in the evening with cocktails and drinks and of course all the day with the most delicious cuisine for all tastes. Also satellite TV with all the sporting events with cold beer and delicious cocktails and other aromatic sisha and free wi-fi for our customers.
Apparently the oldest restaurant, more than taverna, family, fine food, waiter attentive, talkative. Musaka was the most delicious I have had, grilled meat souvlaki, sausages, pita bread, paprika stuffed with cheese, spagetti bolognese, even had Polish doves. Tzatziki the best. Wine very good price 7 euros for 1 liter. Much nicer than the No. 4 Mytos on the oposite where he was not a nice waiter and he did not want us to connect the tables where we wanted. Worth to eat there and we recomend.

VOLKANO was founded in 1992 and since then, up to now it has been captivating your look from the first time you decide to visit it. It urges you to travel to another era that seems to have been extinct by keeping the traditional architecture of the village and at the same time the famous Cretan hospitality.VOLKANO welcomes you to the hospitable and cozy place that claims to be one of the most interesting and original decorative appearances. Combining the tradition with the needs of a modern restaurant and the warm atmosphere of a good company, VOLKANO seems to be necessary to our daily routine!!!
Tucked around the corner from its more prominent takeaway is the charming Volkana. A stone arch perfectly frames trailing bougainvillea which smothers the courtyard to create an idyllic setting for lunch or supper.
Towards the end of the season Analipsi looks rather down at heel, jaded but still popular, unsure whether to pull down the shutters and sleep until next year or attract the remaining diners. Volkana though is an oasis of summer in the twilight of autumn.
The menu is your standard Greek island taverna, well made and efficiently served supplemented with an extensive array of tasty pizzas. Our mezze starters were really tasty and so too was the carafe of local red wine. For our main courses we had a delightful lamb kleftikos and one of those pizzas with additional seafood. We just about had room for a light but super-sticky shared baclava. It was lovely to see the place full, and even at this time of the year, it says something about the quality. Small, but perfectly formed. Thank you for a wonderful night.

Open Daily from 9.30 am till 1.00 am, Close to the nightlife of Hersonissos but just outside the crowdy noisy area where one can enjoy a fresh meal and a signature cocktail with the combination of the breathtaking beachfront view of the sea and the sunset with the sounds of lounge, bossa nova, latin. Our 'Farm to Table' cuisine at Med Cafe restaurant showcases our passion for fresh and healthy eating. We source majority of our meats, dairy, directly from the producing farms in Greece with many bio vegetables from our own Gardens. The menu consists of local and Mediterranean favourites including Paella, gluten free pizzas, locally farmed grass fed steaks, smoked lamb chops and daily caught seafood. To top things off, try our Tikki and molecular cocktails.
Highly rated on trip advisor so we thought it’s safe . Had two different dishes one was with prawns. Both got food poisoning within an 30 min of eating. Absolutely awful experience on first night of holiday. Ruined everything. Great setting but obviously food not kept in cold or prepared hygienically. Would not recommend unless you want to risk. On a contrary the best and safe place is Mythos restaurant, abs fabulous!

The coffee here is excellent and a fraction of Costa, Starbucks etc.
The staff are friendly, service is excellent and I believe that they deliver to the local area.
There is a good selection of coffee, mugs etc for sale and it is so brilliant to have a choice-I remember the days of greek coffee or Nescafe!!!
I believe that they are a small chain.

Of all the Tavernas in the square we are very happy that we chose this one. Friendly and attentive waiters/waitresses and an owner with a good sense of humour. Food was top quality as was the evenings entertainment of Greek dancing. A very enjoyable experience.

Off the main old square, so much quieter. Food is excellent and very reasonable, with probably the best house rose we tried too! We visited for lunch and dinner. Staff were lovely, friendly and efficient. Plenty of locals, so we knew we were onto a...MoreThank you very much for your review!!

This place was ok. We tried it because of the trip advisor reviews and were ok with it not as good as the reviews make out and certainly not as good as some other restaurants nearby, wouldn't return in a hurry but okish
