Ordered two dishes : the chicken with rice, beans and fries was breadcrumbed, with grey meat inside. It looked absolutely revolting. The sirloin steak was very over cooked and tasted like no other beef I've eaten in my life, nor in my co-diners'. I have a nasty feeling it was the horse steak which was offered in the line above on the menu. I asked the restauranteur and he insisted it was beef. Worst experience in Brazil so far.

We loved coming to this restaurant, we came a number of times. The owner is warm, friendly and even helped us plan boat trips off the island, she was a genuinely nice person.The Pizzas rivalled those in Italy and the fresh sea food was also very good.Highly recommended.

We stopped for lunch on the way back from the beach. We knew given the location it would probably be a bit of a tourist trap. We ordered 2 spaghetti bolognese and chips as the fish was too expensive to order. Both dishes were without doubt shop bought rather than prepared by a chef. They were fine but not amazing. The price was high for what it was. Iâd look elsewhere further down the beach as weâd much nicer meals.

The cheapest restaurant we found on the main beach road and it was delicious! I had the soup of the day (chicken and vegetable with croutons r./11) and my boyfriend had the plato principal (chicken with rice, chips, beans, salad and rice r./20). Although you can get cheaper elsewhere, the view of the beach was nice, the beer was cold (and cheaper than elsewhere) and the staff were friendly. There is live music too.

Probably the Best pizza i ever had while travelling abroad and i travel quite a bit! Though be aware that until 5pm they dont serve pizzas but only small meals for one person (pastas)Highly recommended

We had a very disappointing experience eating at Marola. It looks like a great place to stop on the way to Lopez Mendes beach, being a floating restaurant. We waited 50 minutes for our food. The waiter then came over and said there had been a mistake and would we mind waiting another 10-20 minutes. Customers who arrived at the same time as us had finished their meals even though we had ordered similar dishes. The food when it came out, calamari & chips were very average in taste. I thought the price was outrageously high at 136 $reais (â¬29 approx) with two soft drinks. We lost a lot of time from our day and paid a lot for it. I would not return here.

The location is nice at the beach with live good music but the food was not really anything good, we had grilled fish with shrimps and potatoes but the shrimps were baked too long and it was nothing really special. We expected more.

It is not a dinner spot, more lunch or late lunch. Even though we were the last guest at 5pm we were served a delicious grilled anchova in banana leaves, cooked to perfection. The stuff is not overly attentive, not english speaking, but very friendly. They organised a taxi boat for us once we were done with dinner.Thank you for the compliments, and I'm glad you enjoyed it, I hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again.Check back often.
