Reviewed By Flores109286Gave us a room that smelled like cigarettes even after I told them my son could not be in a room that smelled like that. I went and told lady up front and gave me something to spray room and told me to take it back before 10. We woke up with throat hurting and coughing could sleep well because of smell and they didn't seem to care.

While in the area, Angleton is host to the largest fair of its type in Texas, the Brazoria County Fair.

Reviewed By roadmap2dreamzWe had a spacious room with flat screen digital tv, satellite tv, a DVD player, a microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and mini fridge. We had plenty of room with our double beds. The AC worked great, the room was clearly recently painted in the past 6 months and had hard flooring, so no nasty carpet. Free breakfast included waffles, sausage and biscuits, pastries, cereals, and toast. We washed it down with OJ! The pool was smaller than we had hoped and is located at the front, road-facing portion of the hotel. There were only two umbrella tables, so not enough shade, but the kids still enjoyed the swimming! Overall, a good place to stay out of the main touristy stretches in Lake Jackson-Galveston areas. Surfside beach is only about 25 mins away, and Galveston Island is only about an hour!

Reviewed By Jessica CChecked in with my husband @ 6:30 pm. Went to room and opened the door, and immediately got hit with the odor of pet urine. The stains were obvious. Backed out of the room, went to office to get a refund. I then noticed a sign that I didn't see before. "NO REFUNDS." So I asked for a different room. This one was not as bad :/ Husband showered, I took the top comforter off the bed. Skeptical that it had not been changed in a while. There were stained sheets. Noticeably from a woman. Couldn't even sit on the bed, I was disgusted. Husband got out of shower that he said had stained greasy oiled walls. He got dressed, left the premisses at 6:50 pm. DISGUSTING!!! Don't let the outside fool you. It looks descent, but rooms are HORRIBLE!

Reviewed By SelkiyPaperthin walls, musty damp carpet, in a state of extreme disrepair. Bugs.... The only decent thing about the room was the mattresse. I pulled the sheets back to check and make sure there was no bugs infesting the bed and the mattress looked fairly new and the bed was somewhat comfortable although I was overall really uncomfortable to stay there! I will never go back to that place it was awful. Just the humid musty smell in the room made me want to sleep in my truck and gave me the heebie-jeebies when I saw the bugs on the floor, thankfully they were not cockroaches
