As a resident of Puttaparthi I can say that the dining experience at the Rooftop is a delight. The breathtaking views of Puttaparthi, overlooking the Ashram, within an open air restaurant creates a wonderful energetic feeling and relaxing ambience. The nouvelle vegetarian cuisine is truly the first of its kind in Puttaparthi. It is both original and varied. It will particularly suit those looking for a high protein western style cooking. The pricing isn't reasonable given the location and service.A must for anyone coming to Puttaparthi.

This restaurant was recommended by the shop keepers around Puttaparthi as a very good one. Was disappointed to a certain extent due to the fact that food & service is just very average. Nothing to boast about this place but, we did find a few foreigners at the restaurant. Only vegetarian & the fact a few foreign nationals were present could make out as a relatively clean & good place compared to other eateries in the locality. Located on the first floor, the entrance is dinky & not very well maintained. The place is run by a family from Kerala. Food is simply average to the taste & quantity.
Ayurvedic Resto-Cafe "Green Peas" is a missing link between modern cooking, Ayurveda, Indian philosophy, Yoga, Quantum Physics and Neurophysiology. We do our best to explain in different ways that we all consist from particles, energy and ideas, at the ve
"We are what we eat" is their motto and this is what makes this restaurant so special. All dishes are prepared with love, good energy and using healthy ingredients. This energy and light permeates everything. One feels happy sitting in this lovely restaurant. The decor is relaxing and fresh; the food is prepared and served by loving, smiling, happy, healthy people; Five Ingredients Tea comes with rose petals floating in the glass....mmm...sooo beautiful, pleases the eyes and the taste buds!; their coffees and cakes are delicious....I LOVED the chocolate cake! For the cakes, from what I understood, they use only wholewheat flour. AND, they bake their own yeast free Rye and wholewheat bread.I particularly liked their various soups, specially a cold one they have. All their dishes are great , but, my favourites would be the Ayurvedic Thali which is a big serving of wonderfully nutritious vegetables and salads and the Vegetable Wok.To accompany the tea and coffee, apart from all the cakes, one can order scones with jam.So, the food is nutritious and delicious, the service is the best, cleanliness and hygiene is ontop of their list and the restaurant itself is refreshing and peaceful. There are big windows that open up and one can sit there enjoying a meal or a cup of coffee while looking at the crowds below. Wonderful!! I wish I was there now!!I was not only there once for lunch, but , many times, for breakfast, lunch, coffee and dinner!! And, I loved it!!If you want to eat healthy and clean and in loving surroundings, this is the place to go...
