Four of us ate here on Saturday evening. Salad, clams, gambas for starters, followed by three fish dishes and one meat. We all really enjoyed our dishes. The service was very good and we weren't rushed at all.

This unpretentious place has the best tapas and really inexpensive! It was recommended to me by a local resident and the gambas and shrimps and mussels were really fresh. If they would have been on the beach I would have given them 5 stars, but unfortunately the location is nothing special.

Wandered in at opening on a Wednesday night in November. We were the only people there until 10;30 when another couple wandered in. This concerned us regarding the freshness of the food but we noticed no problem with that. The selections were very artistic in presentation. The steak tatare good with slivers of apple on top. The tuna tasted fresh and excellent but only a few bites and seemed quite overpriced. Four little pieces of papaya. For this I give them an average score rather than higher. The pork had been put on a very cold plate which made it cool quickly. Good flavor, just not very hot and not much of it. Service was polite.

I liked the old fashioned atmosphere of this place which reminded me when I was a child and visited such places at seaside resorts in Italy ! Fish was good : fresh and tasty. Simple cooking but genuine. We had gambas a la sal and pijotas. Anyway I did not like the match with the local semi-sweet white wine we were suggested. I guess a good place for tapas too. Reasonable prices.

Everything was delicious. Their speciality is fish, pavia (deep fried hake) which is great. I loved Pescado a la Andaluza ( fish in a typical Andalusian sauce, which delicious). Great value for money!! We are coming back definitely!!! They do not speak good English but they did a great effort to understand and very friendly.

Having returned on the Catamaran Ferry from a morning in Cadiz we enjoyed lunch in this very traditional Spanish Town.In a pedestrianized street setting we enjoyed Anchovies, Garlic Prawns and Salad with large cold beers. The establishment advertises that it simply specialises in Beer and Seafood, which it does most excellently. A First Class Lunch.

This place had been recommended by so many Spanish friends that I wasn't sure it could possibly live up to its advance billing. It MORE than exceeded everything I had been told! Fortunately I popped in at noon to reserve a table, because by 1.30 every table had a reaerved sign and by 2pm it was full (rare in Spain). And this was a weekday in March - I can't imagine how difficult it is to get a table in the summer. The octopus (pulpo) is rightly famous. Soft, garlicky, delicious. The family at the next table recommended the mussels, and those too were excellent. Very friendly spand helpful staff. A must when visiting this corner of la costa de luz.

Probably the best restaurant in town in terms of the food and wine on offer, and while not cheap, was certainly less expensive than the equivalent in a big city.Waiters are very professional and know their stuff - they can advise you on any food or wine in case you aren't sure and they even have English menus, which have been translated well.Went here for my birthday and would certainly go back for the jamón and the solomillo alone. Worth a final evening blow-out if you don't go beforehand!
