Limited options but this wasnât a bad one. Great coffee...Starbucks! Attentive service. Ordered from menu...eggs and eggs Benedict. Both pretty good. Breakfast potatoes even better. Once we got spoons for coffee all was good. Buffet looked good but too much food for us...but it did include coffee which was only $2

Fresh creative food, casual cafe setting. Inside and outside seating with the incomparable Alaskan scenery surrounding. I had the delicious beet salad with a light lemon vinaigrette dressing. Just right for a light lunch. Hubby loves curry and I dislike it, so I never make it. Consequently, he often tries curry dishes when he finds them on menus. Today he had the curry of the day, which was a green vegetarian curry with rice noodles. It was really spicy. He loved it, and I even enjoyed a couple of bites. They warned us when we arrived that they were very busy, so service would be slow. It wasnât though- we had great service! Recommended!

Nice small restaurant in Girdwood - Family owned, very friendly staff, food was good, prices reasonable for Alaska - would definitely eat there again if in Girdwood. It was the only restaurant we ate at Girdwood but I would guess that all of the restaurants in Girdwood are unique and good.

We were especially impressed by the manager's attention (granted, it seemed like a slow night) but the food was very good, too. We liked the cheeseburger (cooked slightly beyond the "medium" I asked for - no pink inside), the pizza (excellent!) and the brussel sprouts with pancetta and balsamic vinegar.

This was one of the best meals we had during our trip to Alaska! My sister-in-law recommended the deep dish pizza and so we shared that. My husband ordered a salad because he isn't a fan of deep dish. He enjoyed his salad, but the pizza was AMAZING! The cheese was all crispy around the edges and the toppings on the Italian were generous and delicious. We took some pizza home with us, and it was even delicious when reheated. Hubby agreed that it was an excellent pizza and not too doughy like some deep dish pizzas.

Given most customers will have prepaid for their meal (included in the tram ticket price) before they arrive at the venue, the choice and quality of the food was surprisingly good. The dining area is large, comfortable and clean with great views and there are also tables outside if you donât mind the wind. The bar serves a good selection of beers and cocktails and there is plenty of water available on tap to stay hydrated, especially if youâve walked up the mountain! The prepayment in the tram ticket gives you a $20 credit, so very good value and worth doing unless you donât plan to eat up there at all or youâre on a super tight budget.

We had dinner as a family of four, food was fine, view was stunning. The disappointment, or what makes this less than a 5 star review was the inability of the team working that night to function. We wanted a slow, paced experience... but it is nice to get a round of drinks before dinner. Then when you are done, should not take 30 mins for the check, 3 hour process in total... with super long pauses. The place was properly staffed and had open tables, just could not make it work. I would come back, but have a drink the bar and hit some other places in Girdwood.Dear Joseph R, Thank you for taking the time to inform us of your experience. I am sorry that on this particular night we did not meet your expectation. We appreciate your feed back and will use this as an opportunity to train our teams. We value your patronage and hope that you join us again.

Ate there several times during our week in Girdwood. Appetizers to die for, steaks big enough for three, desserts are amazing! On Sunday night they have Double Musky Cake. Tell your server to save you a piece when you put your order in or you may not get any.

No one can claim fine dining is limited to the major metro areas of the world. This modest restaurant nestled in the woods of Girdwood near the Alyeska Resort features fresh healthy foods carefully preparedâmost of the time. The only thing to detract from this fine restaurant was the careless way my order of Broccolini was prepared. Not only was it a pale green, indicating overcooking or age, but also I could not cut it with a regular knife and a steak knife an attendant brought me. He actually thought this vegetable required a steak knife. How was I to chew it if it were required? Otherwise, our experienced waiter guided us through the menu and we enjoyed a terrific meal on the restaurantâs enclosed front porch. The sweet potato fries were unique and tender. The other high points were the bouillabaisse,.the curried vegetable entree, and the wine suggestion. We even almost consumed the entire huge slice of the chocolate dessert. We will fix the broccolini preparation.Thank you!
