On our recent vacation, while visiting in Anadarko, wife and I tried out this local restaurant. It was great for lunch and we enjoyed the atmosphere inside the old building. There was a good variety of menu selections. Food portions will definitely fill one up for lunch time. Prices were reasonable. Waitress welcomed us and made us feel at ease. Do highly recommend this location if one is ever in downtown Anadarko and need to have lunch in the downtown area.

Went here with a group of 20 people on a Sunday for lunch. Our orders were served quickly. I had the Fried Onion Burger and it was excellent. The fries, fried green beans, fried mushrooms and onion rings were all good as well. The side salad was only mediocre.

The ingredients are super fresh.
The burger isn't too oily!
Their sausage biscuits are moist.
There is a grocery store and and ice cream parlour inside. All your food groups are covered.
I believe the meat (and maybe everything else) is locally sourced.
It is reasonably priced too. Food ranged from about $6 - $15.
It is a must!

I ate at the restaurant as part of a special occasion where the restaurant was rented out for our group. Even though it was a limited menu, the steaks, barbecue, and salad bar were excellent.

I've have tried this restaurant several times and was let down every time unfortunately. The last and final time the table, silverware and glasses were all dirty. The food was mediocre at best. Friendly staff did try to make corrections, cleaned the table brought clean glasses but it was too late. Like I said I've tried this place 4 or 5 times hoping for improvement only to be disappointed time and again.

I enjoy the food and service at El Charro in Anadarko. I drive my family from Elgin to Anadarko just to eat there. The food is prepared exceptionally and the staff are friendly and professional. I recommend regularly.

Stopped in here for lunch. Staff was very friendly and the bread and vegetables were fresh. The location is just OK, but I wasn't there for the ambience.

The fried onion burger with fries was delicious! The onions were grilled perfectly. I'm finicky when it comes to grilled onions and these were the best I've had.. They were happy to cut the burger in half so I could split it with my partner. The fries were good too but the best thing out of all of it were the funnel cake fries! I don't even think my partner got to try any of them because I ate them all before he had a chance!
