Charming, compact and charged with a zestful energy usually associated with cities ten times its size, open-minded Amsterdam delights with well known worldly pleasures tempered with down to earth Dutch sensibility. Radiating along a picturesque series of canals, the city seems to float dreamily and of its own accord at the lowland edge of Europe, welcoming fans of fine art, cutting edge fashion, or a raucous night out, with equal regard for all.

Morgan & Mees is a boutique hotel and restaurant situated in a completely renovated historical building in Amsterdam West. The interior matches the characteristics of the monumental building, but with a modern twist. With an elegant timeless look and an eye for detail Morgan & Mees is a stylised hotel for international travellers and locals. A home away from home. With the wonderful Jordaan area around the corner the hotel is a place where tourists and locals collide. The Jordaan is one of the oldest neighbourhoods of the city, famous for housing the Westerkerk and the Anne Frank House. Today it is without a doubt the single most exciting area of the city. It is full of canals, small streets and classical architecture, and offers countless art galleries, markets, small boutiques and restaurants. It is bursting with ambition, inspiration and beauty.
Brilliant boutique hotel with wonderful interior architecture and design. The hotel also hosts a quality restaurant with a lovely courtyard garden for fine weather. As for the food, all I can say is that the burrata with beetroot and garlic cream was a taste explosion - the finest I have ever had the pleasure to sample. Staff are friendly and most helpful and give the hotel a feel of amicable intimacy as opposed to a place of formality and distance. A gem of a place.

Four Elements Hotel Amsterdam is the world’s first hotel to use gravity and natural flows of solar light and wind to form a natural air conditioning system. It is established on a manmade island string, at IJburg, the youngest region of Amsterdam, across the 10 floors of an energy neutral designed and awarded building. With top-notch service, a cozy hip atmosphere, 195 beautiful rooms and unique facilities including the Wind Sky Bar and Herbs Garden Restaurant, the Four Elements Hotel Amsterdam embodies urban hospitality in a mindful experience of comfort for travelers and citizens of the world.
Rooms with a great view of the harbor and the sea, the location is near the central station ( 20 minutes using the tram 23), the neighborhood is so calm. The staff are really nice and understanding, we have an early check in at 8PM. I recommend this hotel to visit Amsterdam.

The Highland House is a boutique hotel with a luxurious and intimate atmosphere. The house features 12 modern and stylish rooms. The rooms are uniquely themed and feature quirky details and memorabilia. Discover The Den with its romantic fireplace, let the kids enjoy a movie in The Cinema or curl up with your favorite novel in The Library.
We walked up to the hotel and rang the buzzer. The person who answered said we had to walk back to highlander hotel, their sister hotel, to check in. We already had suitcases we were carrying and you want us to walk back? Ridiculous, especially so since I already checked in online beforehand like they recommended. The room was terrible. The AC was not working and we asked 3 times for them to fix it. It was so stuffy and claustrophobic. We had a hard time sleeping at night. It was strange because it was a little chilly outside but the room was like a sauna. Opening the windows was not an option either since it literally opens a tiny sliver, not letting any air in. The room was super dusty as well. Stay somewhere else, this place was absolute crap.

Allow yourself to enter the historical gate next to the Maritime Museum, at number 5 Kattenburgerstraat. The lovely parkland oasis you will encounter is the former Marine Land of the Dutch Navy, located in the heart of Amsterdam and close to the Central Station. There, between the original 17th Century wall, the historical harbour and the age-old trees, one finds Pension Homeland. The former Officers Mess in building 006 has been restored preserving its original details and now houses a 31 room hotel, its own atmospheric bar and a restaurant with its own brewery.
An old naval pension for sailors recreation, now a cost hotel just by the water, small harbor. Silent area though you are in the city center. Nice restaurant with good food and service. Small “ house brewery “ so you can enjoy the local beer. Small but nice clean rooms, newly renovated. Staying here for the fifth time.

This hotel is spotlessly clean, and has an excellent location. Wifi is fast, and in-room tea/coffee (Nespresso) facilities are generous. Breakfast is great, with lots of options. Mike, the host, is very friendly and helpful. I've seen lots of comments online about the stairs .... but they are wide (almost 2m) and not very steep at all by Amsterdam standards. Additionally, the building is only three stories high anyway! But yes, there is no lift (elevator).

Good location, a bit further from the center than we expected, but still quite nice. The breakfast was delicious, although we expected pancakes as an option since it was mentioned on their booking. The staff was also quite friendly and helpful. However- rooms were catastrophically dirty and smelly. We had the front rooms with a separate entrance. Because they were so small it was easy enough to air them, but the minute the door closed it became uncomfortable. The bathroom door was literally visibly mouldy all over. The toilets didn't flush in one go and they got clogged on the last day. Upon arrival there was hair everywhere: in the shower, on the floor and in the bed. Bedsheets and towels were supposedly clean but on the duvet covers we found blood stains. The floor was also very dirty and we couldn't stand in the room without our shoes. Lastly- there were a lot of spiders! Probably because of the season, but if you're scared of spiders this accomodation just isn't for you! We killed two or three of them on an average day and there were spiderwebs everywhere! We even got bitten at night, but not sure if it was bedbugs, mosquitoes, spiders or something else. It's a shame because everything except the room was really nice.

Housed in a paddle steamer from 1911, Kapitein Anna is located in Amsterdam North. The accommodation will provide you with air conditioning, private bathroom (free toiletries) & bed linen. At Kapitein Anna you will find a terrace and a bar, meeting facilities, a shared lounge and an ironing service. You can enjoy city view from this property. Since september 2020 Kapitein Anna has opened its restaurant on thursday through sunday.
We stayed at Kapitein Anna last July for a few days during our visit to Amsterdam. Anthony was incredible in making our stay the best one and was willing to accommodate to our needs going beyond on every thing we needed. This place is very convenient since it is just a 10 minute ride from Amsterdam central on a ferry (which is free of charge), breakfast is excellent and the staff is really helpful. The ship is a treasure, it is well-kept, clean and the views from the decks are priceless. A nice way to get away from the noisy nights downtown.

You are going to Amsterdam and you are looking for a suitable place in Amsterdam budget hotel to stay? Welcome to the Amsterdam Crown Hotel! If you are full of energy and active and you are looking for some adventure in one of the craziest capitals in whole Europe or you are looking for Amsterdam city break, you have found the right place and the right Amsterdam budget hotel. Here you are, in the centre of Amsterdam! One step out and you enter the world of coffee shops, sex shops and it takes one minute to get to Red Light District with so many pretty girls!
The Crown Hotel was the absolute worst part of visiting Amsterdam, or all of Europe for that matter. I booked this room off of Orbitz and I really should have read the reviews. Here are some very important things for you to know before booking here: 1 – There is NO ELEVATOR. If you end up on the fourth floor like I did you are hauling your luggage up some very narrow stairs. 2 – There are no in-suite restrooms/toilets. That's right. You are using a public restroom. If that's not disgusting enough, one of the public toilets only has the seat an no lid. It's a well known fact that when you flush an open toilet you're essentially making an aerosol of the toilet's contents and contaminating the area. Now couple that with the fact that you can't even close the lid and there was someone else's crap in there. Not at all healthy. 3 – There are no in suite showers (at least for single rooms). Unfortunately there was no way for me to know any of this until I actually showed up. I had already paid and had nowhere else to go. Even though I paid for three nights I just stayed overnight and found a non-disgusting place to stay. I called Orbitz to complain and they did their best to reach the front desk but only got voicemail. Even after my trip Orbitz kept in touch with me as their tier 2 support continued to try to reach out to the hotel and help me with a refund but they didn't even get responses for over a week. Ultimately they weren't able to help me. That's why I'm writing this review. STAY ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. They also do business as HOTEL PARKWOOD. This place is more of a hostel than a hotel. The only nice thing I can say about this place is that it was in walking distance to a lot of the sites to visit.

In City B&B Villa Nicola you'll feel home away from home . In the heart of the vibrant centre of Amsterdam you'll find this beautiful Amsterdam canal house of the year 1900. The B&B has 2 different suites: the Garden Suite and the Urban Suite. We are looking forward to welcoming you during your stay!
This is the best hotel experience I have ever had. The location is perfect, there is a well priced parking garage steps away, the rooms are comfortable, well stocked with personal touches, the breakfast is top notch and the owner is a true local with great recommendations and connections in the city. Oh, and his dog is adorable. I cannot think of anything that needs to be improved. He made us amazing coffees with local treats at check in and offered a personal introduction to the city. He had great food and shopping recommendations and the breakfast was spectacular! Oh and the bed and pillows are very comfortable (that’s a big thing for me!) I never plan to stay anywhere else in Amsterdam!
