What a great bar with lovely people. Stayed in Bowness for 2 nights with my daughters and their partners and went here both nights. Great live entertainment from a talented guy on the piano and attentive, friendly service. I promised to go back and I will.

Nice enough cafe but expensive. 1 x coffee, 1 x tea, 2 x scones not more than 3 inches across £11.20. Add jam and cream another 75p each. They are not alone in this neck of the woods regarding exhorbitant charging see my review on the local council and the public carpark re loo charges.

We are one of the smallest independent coffee shops and cafes in Bowness and operate as a two-man team, as such we do not offer fast food, just delicious food served as fast as we can! All of our dishes are prepared on site to order and we pride ourselves
Simple menu, but was fantastic. Between myself and two of our kids we had three of the flatbreads. Chilli flatbread and falafel flatbread were both incredible and the feta olive was also really good. My wife is Celiac so needs gluten free and she also quite enjoyed.Really glad you enjoyed the food and hope you found the sign!

Coffee House, Restaurant & Bar. Serving the best all-day brunch in Bowness, as well as locally sourced craft beer, ale and cocktails. Locally roasted artisanal coffee and only the best ingredients from the Lake District.
We stopped here on a busy Saturday afternoon and sat outside with our German Shepherd. Ordered two cappuccinos and two cakes. A slight wait, but when you receive quality drinks and cakes and friendly professional service that didnât bother us at all. Thoroughly recommended and definitely worth a visit.

We stopped by here while visiting the Coniston area. The cafe had a large and interesting menu, good pricing and more than enough choices for everyone. They even offer to make to order anything that isn't on their menu. The cafe was cosy, warm and welcoming. The staff were only to happy to help and offer advice on where to visit while in Coniston...there is more to Coniston than the exploits of Donald Campbell and his sad demise in Bluebird.

We visited for an evening meal with Grandparents, parents and grandchildren. Craig the host was brilliant, explaining the menu and ethos of the farm perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful food in beautiful surroundings. Would defiantly recommend and would love to go back.

Kittchen is an arts centre & licensed cafe in the heart of the Lake District. We specialize in bringing you the very best Cumbria has to offer; from home-grown entertainment to 100% Cumbrian scran & local craft-beer. Oh, and we also have a few resident ca
In the middle of this oldy worldy town in the Lake District, popularised by Beatrix Potter and Hawkshead outdoor clothing, is Kittchen. Within 5 minutes of entering the cool, modern interior of this old building and receiving the warmest of welcomes, a selection of locally crafted beers and an excellent selection of freshly prepared food to meet all requirements, and not to mentioned the friendly yet quiet presence of 7 rescue cats without the portentousness of cat cafes in bigger cities, I felt like I was in my new favourite place. The owners, the building, the kitties and the offering of refreshment and entertainment had so much more than we had time for. In so many ways I was gutted when my week in the lakes reached its inevitable conclusion; more so because I canât go back in a hurry. Will definitely visit return in the future and wish the human and feline owners all the best in te meantime!
