Ambergris Caye hovers in a vacation sweet spot: just enough amenities to make it exciting, but not so overdeveloped that you’re tripping over flip-flopped tourists. A mangrove swamp is the eye of this white beach island, the largest in Belize, and golf carts are the main form of transportation along the sandy roads. Reef divers drool over the Belize Barrier Reef and the Blue Hole, a 400-feet deep circle of limestone that teems with angelfish, elkhorn coral, cleaner shrimp and stalactites.

On San Pedro’s north edge, experience a private paradise at Blue Tang Inn, one of the town’s most charming beachfront inns. Fourteen exquisite suites each offer full kitchens and air conditioning. Relax by the private pool or rejoice on the third floor sundeck with inspiring panoramas of the ocean and reef. Set your own schedule for amazing daily activities such as diving & snorkeling, fishing tours, sea kayaking, numerous inland tours and omnipresent romance during your stay.
I loved the Blue Tang Inn, it was small & quaint. The people that work there are very happy to help you with anything that you need to make your stay more enjoyable. It was very convenient to stores & restaurants. We had a hiccup in traveling there, our 1st flight of the day was cancelled, but Emilse, was very helpful in arranging new flights with Tropic Air for the next day. Lionel & Giovanni (hope I spelled it right) made sure that everything was properly working & clean. They were very entertaining as they caught iguanas. Marlon is very knowledgeable in all things to do with the island. Fanny the manager & Elizabeth made you feel very welcome! All in all everyone was very friendly & helpful. I would highly recommend staying with them. We will definitely stay @ the Blue Tang again!!!

Tucked away among tropical fauna and turquoise waters, White Sands Cove Resort sits 2.5 miles north of San Pedro, on the Island of Ambergris Caye. Just off the coast of Belize, our cozy boutique resort is tastefully defined by its unique balance of tranquility and adventure.
My brother booked a surprise vacation for my parent's 50th anniversary. I'm usually the one that's very involved in finding the places to go...but my brother tried to book Captain Morgan's because my parents had been there in 2014 (which was booked) but a guy at Captain Morgan's suggested White Sands Cove, so my brother called them & booked right away. We communicated with Rosie for a few months (probably about 6 months) for all of the arrangements that 3 different families needed/wanted. We arranged the golf carts, the tours, massages, meal plans etc. all in advance of our arrival. Everything worked out perfect & Rosie even schedule the massages in between the activities she had booked for us. Usually we're trying to book everything individually but having Rosie's help was really a key part to us having a relaxing vacation! The resort was really nice, the pool was fun for the kids and there was a view of the ocean, but there were blooms on the whole island from the kelp (?) so you couldn't go into the ocean at our resort. We were a short 30 min drive from Secret Beach & town. There was house keeping every other day, the whole resort was very tidy & well kept. The bar/restaurant onsite was great. The bartenders were always friendly & nice. But the cook, Karen was something else! We had a group of 10 so if we were going to eat a meal together we'd try to submit our orders the night before so we didn't delay the kitchen if anyone else was there. I peaked into the kitchen on the last night & Karen made miracles happen every time we ate together. I think she was the only one cooking & cleaning up the kitchen, but she'd get 10 plates of food out at the same time by herself. AMAZING Karen even went through the extra effort of making a nicely decorate table for my parent's 50th anniversary dinner. It was a great place & I'd defiantly visit White Sands Cove again if we go back to Belize

The Palms is ideally located on the beach a minutes walk south of San Pedro Town. The property features 12 oceanfront 1 and 2 bedroom fully furnished suites and a poolside Casita. All the units are individually decorated, have a/c, full kitchens and have unmatched ocean views.
The Palms was perfect for my group. We were a group of two couples, who wanted to have a place to relax and decompress together in the evenings, and hang out and coordinate our activities in the mornings. The Palms suites were perfect for that purpose-- the suite we got had two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a spacious common area with a dining table, couch, full kitchen and balcony. There were extra beds, so it could have supported a party of 6 or 7 easily. The Palms itself is a great location. It's right on the edge of the walkable area of town, so it's more connected to the city than the more isolated resorts north and south on the island. We didn't need a rent a golf cart every day-- The Palms is close enough to walk to most activities on the island, so that was a huge plus for us. Hotel service was excellent. They were responsive and helpful in all our requests, flexible and friendly. They will take care of transport to and from the ferry, so don't forget to let them know when you're arriving on the island!

An all-in-one secluded boutique resort nested on its own private sanctuary, an oasis with a unique location across the lagoon in the heart of San Pedro “La Isla Bonita” Ambergris Caye, Belize most visited tourist destination. Overlooking the beautiful turquoise water, harmonizing the natural elements of the Caribbean Sea with the serenity of our quiet surrounding, nature and lush gardens – our accommodations boast a Caribbean coastal flair partnered with meticulous service and exclusive amenities unique among luxury resorts in Belize & the Caribbean.
We stayed for a week with our two daughters. We loved the fact that it was a private oasis away from San Pedro. The rooms were large and clean with a great view off our balcony's of the lagoon. The swimming pool was refreshing and drinks could be ordered from Coconut Cafe, the on-site restaurant. We loved the fact that we could come back from a day out on a tour and know we could have a great local meal onsite. Sairi at the front desk was so friendly and helpful our whole stay and took care of scheduling awesome tours and our flights between the island. The speedboat ferry with Dino across the lagoon to town was quick and always on time. We highly recommend staying at Brahma Blue!

An intimate cluster of cabanas located steps away from the sand in beautiful Ambergris Caye. We opened our doors to guests March of 2015 and look forward to having you visit soon.
We visited Daydreamin' B&B in December 2021. It is a great spot to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The owner is on site and was extremely helpful coordinating local tours and excursions. Breakfast was included and had to be the best on the Caye. It is in a great location --- many really good restaurants nearby and just 15 minutes to town by golf cart. Highly recommend!

This is a budget hotel. Perfect for us, a couple of nights while we checked out the island. Probably wouldn’t want to stay here much longer. You get what you pay for. It worked for us. Mike, the owner/manager was very friendly/helpful. If looking for a budget place to sleep, this is great.

Corona Del Mar Hotel & Apartments, your home away from home. A nice beautiful 15 minutes walk along the beach to town. Not too far from town but yet far enough from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy our free rum punch and fruit punch all day long. Once you are here, leave everything to us. We guarantee your vacation of a lifetime.
Check in was ok, I asked about breakfast (which was included with Hotels.com) they had to check it out and they said yes. I asked for a coupon or amount we could use, they really didn’t know. Got to our room and the only lights were the overhead fan which was very bright. I asked for a table lamp but they said they didn’t have any, the place was 1/3 to 1/2 full of guest. Wife asked for an extra pillow again no. That night they had music in the bar/pool area, but the musicians set up in front of our room about 20 feet away instead of all the way down the other end. There were two(2) safes in our room but both were not functional I went to the desk and asked they sent the maintenance guy (Leeroy) and he tried and a no go. So he got another safe and brought to our room and asked me were I wanted it mounted, so now there are three (3) safes in the room. One night they had Karaoke that was supposed to last until 9:30 it lasted until 10:45 and was very LOUD and it was at the far end of pool area. On some days they have an open pool, so lots of folks. In our room there are wires hanging down the wall for the cable and stuff also a hole in the wall where they come out. Bathroom is real small and the hot water and water pressure is variable. The owner is around but doesn’t want to engage with his customers unless he’s in some good ole boy talk. We have stayed here a couple of times before and that’s why we returned, but never again. The staff were very helpful were they could and helped it from being a total disaster. Elena on the front desk helped a lot and is the most informative.

Belize Budget Suites, is located on the beautiful island of Ambergris Caye, off the mainland coast of Belize. The property sits in a quiet neighborhood, nestled in a cluster of Australian Pine trees, three (3) blocks from the beach, and 1-1/2 miles south of downtown San Pedro. It's a 10-15 minute golf cart ride, from the airstrip to the property. Within walking distance (3) blocks, is one of the best restaurants on the island (serving breakfast, lunch & dinner). Belize is a two hour flight from Houston or Miami, and the island is just a 15 minute plane ride from the mainland. All our suites have been recently renovated. The property consists of (9) one bedroom, one bath suites. Each suite has a living-room, kitchenette, private bath and bedroom. Six of the suites can be joined to a adjacent suite (by an interior door), creating a two bedroom suite. One suite will offer a queen size bed, the adjoining suite will offer two twin beds. This works well for families, grandparents, traveling companions and/or groups. The entire building can be rented for group functions or family reunions. We can accommodate a group up to 30 people. This usually requires booking far enough in advance - so that all rooms are available.
This place is very nice and extremely clean, best place to stay for the money. If you ever need anything just ask Jose and he will see to your needs. This place has a park like setting and is very tranquil. Definitely will stay here on our next visit to check on our cafe. (Flight Cafe)

Spent a week at the Park Place, and was very happy with the room and location - right on the beach. They have a bar and restaurant on site. Great staff and the price can't be beat. Recommend staying here.
