we came upon this pizzeria by chance as it is a little out of the way from the central plaza, but then again walking distance of course as Chacha isnt really so big..Anyway, it was a pleasant surprise! While we were waiting for our pizza española they brought us an experimental dish, courtesy of the house, which turned out to be lasagne of aji de gallina, very delicious. Then the pizza came and it was great. We came back another day and I tried the pizza with cecina and fried plantains and it was very original and brilliant too. The only thing not so good were the tequeños, with no sauce or guacamole to accompany them... but, again this time, we were brought an extra dish, this time a spinach-porree-cheese affair, very nice.

The restaurant is a few blocks away from the main square. It offers a great variety of pizzas to choose from, some with regional ingredients. The pizzas were ok, and the service was friendly. They offer delivery to your hotel, a nice bonus when you are really tired.

Homemade pizzas and liquor macerated in a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can feel at home, reading a book or share pleasant moments .
I had a fantastic experience at this spot. It's a totally out-of-the-way gem, funky and laid back stay-all-night type of place. We actually went there because Candela, our first-choice pizza spot, was closed. Arriving at the Club, we found Candela's owner and chef, Jose, hanging out for the evening (we had a grand time chatting and he's opening the restaurant tonight just to cook for us, but that'll be another review!) so it's definitely the type of place where divine meetings occur. The space is decorated with funky murals painted by Christian, who is also the waiter and chef. Fantastic selection of music played from his laptop, on whose keyboard a kitten was sleeping. Interesting selection of books in Spanish from Darwin to the Krishna bible.Christian also experiments with pisco infusions, we sampled a dried mango and pineapple one that was almost overpoweringly floral and delicious. Our host poured us another as we were fading, enticing us to stay just a little while longer. You may have noticed that I have yet to mention the pizza. That's primarily because for me, the food wasn't the focus of the experience. In fact, I'd recommend coming here just to hang out and sip on pisco, maybe see a pizza coming out of the kitchen and then decide. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty. It just wasn't what I think most westerners would qualify as an authentic pizza fix (personal size only, no wood fired oven, not sure exactly how to describe the "crust").Anyway, it's an evening that won't be forgotten.

We didnât find this place until our last day in Chachapoya and it is hands down one of the best restaurants in terms of service and food. The place is really well decorated with good music providing a wonderful overall atmosphere. Super bonus they brew their own craft beer....and itâs GOOD.

My boyfriend and I came into this restaurant because I was really craving pizza and I saw some good reviews on here. YâALL. Iâve never liked any lasagna other than my momâs and please donât tell her, but this is the best lasagna Iâve ever had. Thick, fresh noodles and veggies, straight from the wood- fired oven. My boyfriend doesnât even like lasagna and he ate half of it. We also ordered a pizza- we didnât even pick one off of the menu, just told Juan the ingredients we wanted and he was more than happy to oblige (pizza was great too). Definitely one of our favorite meals in Peru, do not miss!Oh Maddie, thank you for this pretty nice comment. We are very happy for make you feel good at Candela. Have a nice trip!
