Stretching along the southern side of Italy's Sorrentine Peninsula, the Amalfi coast dazzles with its mysterious grottos, craggy cliffs and shimmering bays. Grab a seat on the sea side of a regional bus to soak up views on the fabled route from artsy Positano to Amalfi. Ravello offers some respite from the crowds, plus the stunning Villa Cimbrone, which overlooks the Bay of Salerno. The historic section of Sorrento has winding streets filled with craftspeople. Capri is only a hydrofoil or ferry ride away.

The NH Collection Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi has been and continues to be one of the most significant monuments of the entire Amalfi Coast.
Amazing hotel right in Amalfi with incredible views in every direction. We booked this hotel and we couldn't have been happier. The hotel staff is so friendly no matter who you encounter, they're very helpful and run an extremely professional hotel. The breakfast area is pleasantly located on the outside balcony and overlooks the ocean, the port, etc. Incredible views and great size too - lots of tables so you never felt cramped. Our room was amazing, extremely clean and neat, with perfect views - we felt like true VIP the entire time. There is an employee named Vinchenzo who was the absolute best. Always positive, smiling, laughing and makes incredible espresso martini! He was the star of the week and we highly recommend you find & interact with him!

The Vastness of the sea reflecting every warm sunset tonality, a delicate scent of citrus essences, distant notes whispering harmonious melodies, a light breeze caressing the skin, the peak of flavour to taste bite by bite.... the awakening of the five senses, the Peal of the Amalfi Coast, Ravello....enchanting Villa Piedimonte. Villa Piedimonte is a brand new Property established into an ancient 12th century Villa, according to local legend, owned by rich merchants of the Amalfi Maritime Republic. The Villa is situated just at few steps from the renowned Auditorium designed by Oscar Niemeyer, in the heart of the picturesque town of Ravello, called the City of Music, at walking distance from Piazza Duomo and the main local attractions, such as World Famous Villa Cimbrone. The peculiarity of its location allows the Villa to be a unique place where living Ravello's magic experience and discovering the beauties of the Amalfi Coast. Photos didn’t do Villa Piedimonte justice. We stayed in the Junior Suite and the room was beautiful and spacious, with a huge bathroom - massive bath and walk in shower. Our balcony had a stunning Amalfi sea view as did the pool area. Hotel staff were very friendly and so helpful and the secure car park is free - which is a bonus! The hotel is super close to Ravello Town centre, we took the free shuttle offered by the hotel there and walked back - just 10 minutes. We loved our stay in the Ravello Hills, a delightful escape.

Overlooking the bay of Positano, the Positano Art Hotel Pasitea is a perfect example of Mediterranean architecture, with its masonry, lava stone and wrought iron furnishing. Completely renovated, the Hotel has the typical terrace-structure which can be immediately recognized thanks to the magnificent bougainvillea coming up from the vulcanic rocks to underline the property shapes made of arches and vaults. The Hall has a blue flooring painted of white waves which reminds the water sea movement. The circular stairs leads to every floor from which enjoy a different amazing view of Positano and of the sea. All the rooms are wide, air conditioned, with satellite television and individual balconies overlooking the sea. Each one faces a wonderful seaside landscape and the suites have a seaview Jacuzzi. The hotel has also a very special wine bar, where it’s possible to have dinner, taste the best products of Italian gastronomy and chose from a great selection of national wines. Free Wi-Fi ADSL connection and efficient business corner in the lobby. Private car park with an extra charge.
I just traveled to Italy with my family of four for the first time together, and we decided to stay in Positano for a few nights -- this hotel was wonderful!! The rooms are exactly as pictured online - with one note: the Family room is actually 2 separate rooms with an adjoining door. This was a nice surprise for us because it meant we had two bathrooms and two balconies (maybe my misinterpretation of the room description, but we were only expecting 1 of each!). The hotel was beautiful, clean, and the views were remarkable. We ate breakfast at the hotel for a couple mornings, as there weren't that many breakfast options in the immediate area, and it was nice (eggs, omelettes, fruit, pastries, sliced meats). The staff were also all so nice and accommodating/helpful, which always makes the experience that much better. One thing to note -- this hotel is a HIKE from the beach. I couldn't tell from the map and had read a lot of reviews that mentioned a high walking score, so I thought this location was much closer than it was to the main beach/shopping/dining area (a shop lady actually described it as "the other side of Positano"). There are a lot of great shops/restaurants near the hotel, but it's not my definition of close to the main part of town. The silver lining (which we discovered after our first walk down) - there is a bus that runs the loop of Positano, and there is a stop RIGHT outside the Hotel Pasitea. This was a game changer for us, and actually made it feel like we got to explore more than just the main tourist hub. Good to know if you're traveling with kids or folks with accessibility needs. We would absolutely stay here again!

Ravello Art Hotel Marmorata is a 4 stars hotel situated in Ravello on a wonderful cliff in a lovely, quiet and small bay, in the heart of the divine Amalfi Coast. The Hotel was an ancient paper-mill dating from the 15th century and thanks to the clever renovation and the antique marine style furnishing, it is unique in this enchanting inlet of the coast.Comfortable rooms with sea view, hydro-massage swimming-pool with landing stage, fitness-room and free parking are available to guests. From "L'Antica Cartiera", the inside hotel restaurant, our guests could enjoy a wonderful sea view
I stayed here on my own on a solo vacation. The staff were lovely and the hotel was clean, but it is quite dated in terms of decor. It has a beautiful swimming area and the breakfast is very nice (though unfortunately the view from the breakfast/dinner area on the terrace is obstructed by a window sill when you sit down that is right at eye level for most people). The room was fine, though my mattress was a bit lumpy and it was difficult to keep the room cool at times. The shower was also so small I could barely turn around in it and I’m not a big person (5’4 and 130lbs) and it was quite slippery to stand in and always leaked water all over the floor. Though the hotel may technically be in Ravello, is not in Ravello proper as the name would suggest. Ravello center is actually quite hard to get to from the hotel - it is either a gruelling 30 min uphill walk (1500 steps) to the town or a 40 euro taxi. The buss does not go from the area directly to Ravello you would have to transfer in Amalfi and back track. Your choices for dinner are then limited to the hotel restaurant (which is good but pricy and would lack of variety after sometime) or a 15 minute walk to Minori along the highway or a 30-40 min walk to Amalfi the other direction. Taxis here are extremely over priced (a taxi to the hotel from Amalfi will cost 30 euros even though it’s a 10 min drive). The hotel does have shuttles but they are limited in space and the times available and don’t run in the evening. If you stay here you are better off having your own car to get around.

Villa Maria Luigia is the result of a careful and refined renovation of an elegant villa dating back to the 900's. The villa, with its wonderful views, is situated just over than 1km from the center of Amalfi, away from the chaotic Piazza Duomo. Its position allows you to reach the historic centre quickly but offers peace and quiet when you want to relax. And it is with the same elegance, cordiality and experience and a touch of sobriety and Mediterranean modernity that "Villa Maria Luigia" is launched as the ideal destination for those wanting to stay in Divine Amalfi and to be pampered surrounded by comfort and cordiality. Admire the unique views of the Amalfi Coast and Cilentana with the giddy sensation of being suspended between the sky and the sea.
We stayed 3 nights at the end of September and were very satisfied with the hotel. Our room "Aurora" was nice and clean and had a gorgeous sea view, with a small balcony around. If you are not a morning person, the shutters allow to block the sunrise light. The only negative point is the rather busy road below with "crazy" :-) Italian drivers making noise even late at night. The hallways and entry are very clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast is served on a terrace with a gorgeous view, offering diverse hot and cold food of rather good quality. What warmed our hearts is the care the hotel staff gave to the several cats living around the hotel, even though cats apparently are not so appreciated by the people there. We hope this will continue in the future! If you like swimming, the Lido degli artisti is just a few steps (+ many vertical steps, as every on the Amalfi coast) away - beautiful water with sunbeds to rent on a secluded beach!

The hotel Santa Lucia enjoys a fantastic location in the charming town of Minori, amidst the imposing scenery of the Amalfi Coast.
This is the third time we've stayed here (mum and daughter). The staff are friendly and attentive, the buffet breakfast is vast and held in a beautiful glass fronted area overlooking the street. A few minutes from the beach, shops, bars, and the pier for boat trips. The outside looks lush and green with many plants, the reception is ornate blue and white. (My only negative comment is that the shower rooms are tiny.) We love the Santa Lucia!

Villa Magia Suites is the only of its kind on the whole of the Amalfi Coast, as one of the few properties which can be easily reached from the center of town, yet with unencumbered views over the Mediterranean and large indoor and outdoor spaces The original property was builded up in the 18th Century as one of the many watchtowers that former inhabitants of Amalfi Coast were used to build up to advise population of Saracens Pirate’s attacks. In the 20th century other 2 levels have been added, making of this villa one of the hugest properties in the very center of Positano. In 2015, after another 2 levels addition, we decided to share the beauty of our place turning the property into a luxury, smal and charming boutique Hotel. OUR STYLE: Villa Magia is a small luxury boutique hotel. We have only 12 rooms; that allows us to try to give the perfect service to our guests, also respecting their own privacy. Our happy and welcoming staff is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for any kind of request you would need to be satisfied. It’s an innovative way to feel relationship between staff and guest, we want you to feel like in your house and we’ll try to do our best to experience our new way to make high quality tourism. In Numbers: 12 suites 3 pools 1 Spa Area 1 Gym 3 boats 1 Restaurant Luna at Villa Magia 1 Cocktail Bar Luna
I can’t express how wonderful our stay is. We are on day 3 of a 5 day stay. We are a family of four with adult children. . It’s so fantastic I couldn’t wait until the end to post. The views are breathtaking. The staff is so responsive to every request no matter how big or small. We have traveled to multiple cities this trip and Villa Magia is the best by far. The atmosphere is so serene. Will be so sad to leave
