Beautiful room, with white glove service.
Food is amazing, extensive wine menus. Beautiful after drinks carts.
I really can’t say enough.
Wear a sports coat, no jeans!
This is a very classy, high end restaurant.
Be prepared to pay big $$$$$ for dinner. Glasses of champagne from $50 usd up.

I am from Greece and usually I avoid eating in Greek restaurant in other countries... This time I have made the best choice. The bread, the salad with halloumi and mushrooms, the soft and delicious Angus steak, all perfect. Last but not least, the Greek stuff, the Greek hospitality, "philoxenia" as we say.
Efharisto poli (thank you very much)

We serve genuine traditional Swedish food in a cozy atmosphere. We are a family run restaurant near the Royal Palace.
Of the several cosy and popular eateries on the lovely old cobblied Osterlanggatan in Gamla Stan, this simple Swedish bistro stands out as an authentic, welcoming and good value contender. No bookings taken so turn up before 7pm and wait with a drink at the bar ... they will squeeze you in. Nice friendly genuine service ... honest, tasty, fresh, well-prepared Swedish fare ... simple but warm and atmospheric ambience. All you could want for on a frosty night in the Old Town. I particularly enjoyed the three types of pickled herring starter and the grilled salmon ... perfect!

Was there for dinner on a Sunday evening with the family (4 of us totally). There were only people at 2 other tables, so there was no pressure on the staff.
Service was great, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly and was really good.
We had 4 different dishes and shared around so we all got to taste all of the meals. All 4 dishes were very tasty & very plentiful, were were stuffed (& brought home a doggy bag).
Prices are middle of the road, typically between 150 and 200 SEK for a main dish, which is right for this type of restaurant. The have a take away service as well.
I can recommend the Badpuji restaurant and I will be returning again.

What a treat this place is. On a recommendation by local friends, we showed up without a reservation half an hour before they opened for dinner. Since it was a warm summer day, we sat outside waiting for doors to open and scored 2 seats at the bar. Everything we ate was stellar - not only high quality and flavorful, but also imaginative and beautifully plated without being pretentious. Lilla Ego deserves its position as one of the highest rated restaurants in town.

This is the best Italian icecream in Sweden: both owners are professional 'maestri gelatieri' (icecream makers) and they use only the best of the ingredients! It is definitely worthwhile visiting the shop located in a enchanting area of Stockholm clise to the sea!
Take the underground to Alvik (the green line) and then the Nockeby train to Ålsten. Then just enjoy! Check their homesite for opening hours!
And then take a walk along the coast!

I've must have put on a good few pounds lately, as I've been enjoying some wonderful and amazing cuisines of Europe, during me and my wife's long holiday. We dined at this wonderful restaurant in Stockholm, at the start of our short visit to Sweden. We were warmly greeted on our arrival, as we were led to our table. After dining here, the food that we had, was of a very good quality, as everything was so wonderfully seasoned to ensure fresh and natural tastes and flavours. The food here tasted so fresh and authentic, there really was a sense of the taste and flavours of Sweden being served direct to our plates. The aromas of the dishes, so strong and beautiful ,really made it known that we were definitely in Sweden. The service was good with lovely waiting staff. Overall this was a very good start to our visit to Stockholm and Sweden, and we left happy with our experience here.

This is the relaxed kid brother of the fine dining restaurant Aloë, in the basement of the old grocery store in a sleepy suburb of South Stockholm. On weekdays, they serve lunch, but we have only been here for the weekend brunch, which was excellent. We had cocktails, followed by champagne and a bunch of canapés. Everything was a feast to the eye and mouth, the service was very good and the bill landed on reasonable 90 Euro or so, for us both. The lunch, with a offers, put you back 12-20 Euro, drinks not included. The only complaint is that you might not want to sit in a suburb basement and eat if the sun is shining outside. But , it's a perfect way to waste a rainy Sunday afternoon. The bus stop is just outside. Try to sneak a peak at the gigantic kitchen, used mainly for catering. The rumor has it that they cook for the government airplane.
